What's wrong with the elderly? You know they did some amazing things in their youth. Heck! One might have lived during the Great Depression!

Why would i reword it? And yeah sure, it's fun to talk to the elderly. Especially those with dementia. Except when those with dementia think they're dead wives are coming home soon. I had to deal with that once

That's sad that he might think that... I'm sorry, about the nagging just something recently came up in my life that really made me protective of the elderly...

You should be protective of the elderly. And that's also why you need to be protective of those who take care of the elderly. That's something that Sweden's politicians doesn't seem to understand because most retirement homes are going over their budgets
