It’s basically a series about alien invasion and the force on earth that has to defend against them.

People have “invisible organs” called trion, and hey use handheld devices to turn it into weapons such as guns and swords and stuff, and they use that to defeat the aliens.

Well the earth people weapons are really basic save for a few exceptions, the aliens have a huge variety of versatile equipments.

And yet it is still beautiful to watch even in Japanese. I recommend reading the manga and then watching the anime, because the two are almost alike and you would know what was happening.

Oh you should know that the manga went on Hiatus for like a year because the author had health issues.
