Welcome back to Pokécharms! We've recently launched a new site and upgraded forums, so there may be a few teething issues as everything settles in. Please see our Relaunch FAQs for more information.
Roleplaying is productive though. You need to keep up with what everyone else is writing too and that will make you have to write something that'll both fit with the personality of your character and still work with the context of the roleplay. That could sometimes be hard to do.
And you can still write a book if you want. There's nothing stopping you
I don't want to write a book because the collaborative aspect of RPing isn't there. The feeling of RP is unique and it's the only kind of writing I really enjoy, that’s what I mean. And by productive, I meant something that gets you paid.
About getting paid (yeah i noticed that part now. Moderation sucks), it's still possible to kind of RP when you're writing a book. It's pretty hard to come up with every character on your own. You can always find a friend or something that'll help you write a book. And then you can come up with a plot together and stuff like that. And you can take turns writing.
I will burn the person who said that to you. Roleplay is the key of my happiness.
I mean.. it inspired me to draw more and generally be imaginative. What would happen to me if I didn't find roleplay I don't know. I'm so glad to see that people are like me and have a love of roleplaying.
