I wouldn't be the surest of that, but I will say that being surrounded by good writers improves the quality of your RPing skills overall.

If everyone’s writing detailed walls of text, people eventually burn themselves out. You want a few guys who write shorter, less descriptive posts that give the RP a much-needed relief. I think that’s why New Beginnings lasted as long as it did.

That may work for Pokemon RPs, but Good General RPs seem to be an exception, short posts seem lazy, even if they technically meet the 1 paragraph requirement, sure there is less time between posts, but longer posts that take longer show quality over quantity, that's why most RPs die left and right, because it's easy to get caught up in the rush of content, I should know, I've felt that way too.

However there is a benefit in reading short posts, you can reply quicker and you don't have to search for a TL;DR version.

I'd have to agree. While I like RPing with experienced people, rping with newer writers can be a lot of fun. Stress on "can".

Not saying all posts should be short or long (both of these die quickly). Should be a balance of both. An RP is like the world in a way. Rich countries don’t just trade with rich countries; they trade with poorer ones too. And RP’s survive the same way, people with rich proses not excluding anyone else.

I agree with that point, because if rich people trade with poor people, the poor become financially stable and the rich remain rich. Same with writing habits, eventually, a newer member will pick up the writing habits of more experienced ones, that's what happened to me when I joined the Naruto AU RP.
