If we're gonna delve into another dark backstory, particularly with regards to the 3rd Ninja war, it should be a joint effort.

Konoha and the Mist fought during that time period anyway, so it'll be one Dark event, rather than several.

I'd planned to explore the Hyuga's strict attitude and mix it with Military law.

Since Konoha was losing the war on basically all fronts that didn't have Minato cleaning up, I was gonna have Hinagiku stationed on the Konoha-Iwa warfront -that they were losing.

So the general idea was she'd be tasked with the job of executing deserters -but she'd hesitate- and let the deserter escape.

the deserter wouldn't escape to Konoha (since they'd realize he was a desert and probably kill him.) so he instead goes off to the Iwa side and leaks them information -said information resulting in Hina's squad being routed.

I'm wondering if it's too much of a coincidence for things to stack terribly like that...

The deserter might not willingly give out information, but once he gets captured he won't really have much choice if he wants to stay alive.

He might even be the type that willingly hands over the information just to save his own skin.

Not too clear on the details as of yet.

Lmao, Oh No, that part doesn't tie into the Mist at all. That's just what I've got for Hinagiku.

If I recall correctly, the battle with the Mist was after they battled Iwa (since obito was already 'dead' when they were battling Kiri)

So her appearing on that battlefield wouldn't be odd.

I'm not quite sure how to incorporate the Mist yet, depends on what you've got planned.

yea, but I don't know what your Idea is so I couldn't base it off nothing xD

I've got a few general ideas.

1) involving the mission that Iwa and Kiri went on to team up against Kumo.

2) The battle at...Yosuga Bridge? Kannabi Bridge? some bridge...

3) Jinchuriki vs Jinchuriki, the latest perfect Jinchuriki from both nations would have a massive battle in Biju form and we'd be able to set a standard for Jinchuriki strength.

Hmmm I don’t know. It just seems rather unnecessary? I’m not sure, I don’t see a reason why there would be a tailed beast battle out of the blue in the story

The setting would be the Third Shinobi war. It wouldn't be out of the blue, it's more backstory.

and it serves a reason as it sets a standard for Jinchuriki on the future
