SatAM had honestly weak characterization compared to what we see in the Adventure games (even 06 but 06 is *throws up*), and there's pretty much no difference between IDW and Archie. Same writer and everything, especially with Silver and Blaze. They weren't invented until Flynn had creative control.

Honestly, I kind of hate how you think that since one character is pretty OP compared to the games, the same rule applies to all characters. It really doesn't. Silver and Blaze can do pretty much the same things in the games, IDW and Archie.

Silver can keep up with Sonic in the Archie comics. Stopped Mecha Sonic and commented he was "too slow" and Mecha Sonic scales with Archie Sonic. By that alone he is far more powerful than his IDW and game version.

Sonic SatAM is much better than 06. Don't even go there.

Silver can keep up with Sonic in the games anyways. See Generations and Rivals. The only one that's ever broken out of Silver's psychokinetic hold was Super Scourge, but that's because when Silver grabs you, you're HIS. That's how it is in the games too.

I'm just saying, that power is stupidly powerful and makes the RP really unfair.

In the games, Silver was generally weaker and had been beaten. Here though he can keep up with MFTL Sonic and Metal Sonic and hold a Super with his powers. It is stupidly broken.

Yeah uh he held that Super for like two seconds just so Scourge could make a point...
I'd make the argument that ANY psychokinetic is equally broken. The power in general is broken. But I choose to focus on the character, not the ability. Silver has never gone all-out, and we can clearly see that - he went close to all-out against Enerjak, but even that wasn't his full potential as a psychokinetic.

Twilight right now has that power, and it shows she is strugglng holding a single werewolf. Sarah is being incredibly balanced about it.

He was going all out in the games. You are just saying he is not because you could make him more exploitative of his powers and cheese him out.

No, he clearly wasn't. If he had, the area itself would have been destroyed in the process like in fights with similar foes. Having had discussions over this with the TMOM Discord server, pretty much everyone there - with tons of experience in the games and the comics might I add - agrees that Silver is just using his full potential more often in the comics.

Funny way to say he was holding back given he was paranoid about saving the future and clearly driven to do what he had to to save the day. Just cause the comics make him OP like everyone else does not mean he suddenly held back in the games. It conflicts with his personality and character in the game.

Actually, no. It makes perfect sense given his personality. He doesn't like to hurt people, so of course he's going to do minimal damage to the area around him.
Generations is debatable. I'd say it'd take more effort to pull a skyscraper out and use it as a weapon and Silver can't really do that while moving at high speeds, so that's why he only picked up the relatively small objects.

He was frantic and obsessed with doing whatever he needed to save the future. A Discord conversation is not canon, it is pure fan speculation no matter how appealing or "logical" you guys make it sound.

And my overall point was Sarah had a character who could be pretty broken in Twilight (Teleportation, Telekensis, Magic) yet she has been incredibly fair with it by given them actual limitations to this point. That is making things balanced, you want Silver to be OP but then hand wave "oh he'll hold back" as an attempt rather than find a way to give these broken abilities any limits.

Alright, but I'd just like to point out the fact Silver's powers are incredibly inconsistent as-is. I'm going to have Silver use his maximum potential only if it's absolutely needed.

No, more like Kale, considering Thor lusts for combat and is stronger than Silver.

I mean Kale has a transformation to become OP (Which requires intense emotional triggering). Silver we only have to rely on "holding back" which is the most flimsy restriction. And out of character outside of his comics despite what your Discord chat believes.

Said Discord server is kind of devoted to studying these characters, Godjacob. Just because someone can do something doesn't mean they will.

I'm just saying it doesn't reflect Silver in what we know of canon. It is pure fan speculation, which while good for conversation topics is not a supplement for canon.

If fan theory always were right, the Angels would have plotted the destruction of the multiverse in Dragon Ball Super and we'd have Goten Black.

It goes perfectly with what we know of in canon. We just have differing interpretations of the character, as I see. Try taking a read of the comics with Silver in them, you'll see what I mean.
Though I think we should just stop this by now. Silver hasn't even come into the RP, and when he does I'll handle him correctly.
