Dunno who Bender is, and I don't really consider origins that viable? TOME and Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes have their roots in a flash animation series and comic books, and they still tell their own, unique stories. As long as it's a good, in-depth show (rated at most t for teen) then it works.
