But with the sandstorm up whatever you switched to would have also gotten one shotted...

Even if the earthquake they received upon switching in didn't kill them, they definitely wouldn't outspeed the Sand-Rush excadrill and would've died to the second Earthquake

and if you switched into Staraptor then Excadrill would still outspeed and Rock Slide it to death :T
