Welcome back to Pokécharms! We've recently launched a new site and upgraded forums, so there may be a few teething issues as everything settles in. Please see our Relaunch FAQs for more information.
I Mean the ones who complain about minor things like Manspreading and Mansplaining. When there are countries where girls can't show there faces or get their youknowwhats cut off. oh, and protest at men's issues conventions.
Okay, just a suggestion: watch how you word stuff like that. Saying "I don't like feminism." gives the impression that you're against womens' rights as a whole. It'd be like someone saying "I hate Muslims" then saying "Oh sorry I meant the ones that blow themselves up in malls and other terrorist acts" when someone gets pissed off.
Also that's like saying I can't argue your point, the whole thing about protesting at mens' issues conventions or whatever. Of course there are going to be people there that are arguing against the point of the convention in the first place. It'd be like holding an "Impeach Trump" thing and not expecting someone that thinks you're a stupid asshole to come and tell you as much.
Eh, this is just going to turn into a mess that I'd rather not be a part of. If it’s alright with you @Fraseandchico , if you want to reply to Cloudswift could you do it in a Conversation rather than here? Thanks :) I'm not exactly fond of feminism either, but I keep my reasons to myself so that I don't get into arguments.
(Face palms) Okay, time for me to say a thing
When it comes to Feminists who actually aim for equality in countries without it. I don't like to group them with the crazy ones, so I call the Ones wanting equality 'Equalists'
Also, let me be clear on what my views are. I'm STRONGLY against women and girls being seen as inferior. Not saying that males can't be victims too, but I'm hoping to raise awareness through whatever means I can that it should not be okay to continue doing something that makes a woman uncomfortable after she's asked you to stop.
Also, I feel like it's frustrating that people aren't being taken seriously when they make these rape claims against others. In an ideal world, the first question wouldn't be "What did they do to provoke the accused", it would be something along the lines of asking if the accused made sexual advances without the consent of the victim.
It's not as much as them not being taken seriously as it is the Court doing what is constitutionally correct. They have to assume the victim innocent until they are proven guilty, irrefutably.
