Pokémon: Art Through The Ages event takes over Manchester’s Trafford Centre this Autumn
Starting on the 17th October through to the 13th November, Manchester’s Trafford Centre – a huge shopping centre on the outskirts of the city – will be playing home to an artistic Pokémon treasure-hunt event, with all 151 Generation One Pokémon appearing across the centre depicted in a wide variety of artistic techniques and styles from across the ages, including cave paintings, stained glass and oil paintings.
Visitors who discover 10 hidden oil paintings across the site and unscramble the secret code hidden within will be able to claim a free double-sided limited edition poster from Trafford Centre’s local GAME. Meanwhile, additional activities can be found in a booklet visitors can pick up and complete at their own leisure, with even more goodies up for grabs including a certificate for finding all 151 Pokémon.
For younger fans between 6 and 11, special art workshops will be taking place at the Orient Main Stage area, while Pokémon movies and anime episodes will also be available to watch for everyone else. Pikachu himself will even be making some appearances throughout the coming weeks, along with the newly re-decorated Pokémon bus – making it’s return from Sword and Shield’s launch tour.
Further details are set to be announced on the 3rd October, but if you’re in or around Manchester over the next couple of months, make sure to head to the Trafford Centre and check out the event for yourself.
