The train began to move. Slowly but surely. The train let out loud whistling sound as it departed. A whole bunch of people waved at their children as the train began moving. Saltus looked at Procyon with a long silent stare before letting out a ribbit. Saltus leaped and descended into Procyon's shirt pocket. Procyon patted his pocket. Procyon heard the cart door open.
"I'm gonna sit over here, is that okay with you?" A male voice called out. Procyon turned and saw a curly haired blonde boy walk over and lay down across from him. Laying on the boy's lap was a rather peculiar cat with various colors. The boy didn't even wait for Procyon to speak before making himself comfortable.
Procyon was so eager to talk to another student that he didn't think anything of it nor did he care. "Hello! I'm new! This is my first year, and you?" Procyon said.
"The boy stared at the ceiling and patted his cat, "Kaiser. Kaiser Sozay" Kaiser said waving his arm.
"Procyon Sheerfor" Procyon responded.
"Tuffsy" Kaiser said pointing at his cat.
Tuffsy began to purr.
"Riiibbit!" Saltus went sticking his head out Procyon's pocket.
"Saltus" Procyon said gesturing to his frog.
Kaiser turned his head and looked at the toad, "Huh... Nice to meet you Procyon" Kaiser said.
"Nice to meet you too Kaiser!" Procyon cheered.
"I'm also a new to Hogwarts! The magical world is so big! My dad talked about it, but he didn't take me and my mum to it much. I'm still so overwhelmed though" Kaiser said now smiling. The door slid open once more.
"Got any room for one more?" A girl's voice asked.
Both boys turned their heads to see a dark haired girl with a big grin.
"Huh?" Kaiser muttered.
"Great! Also there's no empty carts. Hope you guys don't mind" The girl said. Since Kaiser was laying down taking up a whole bench, She sat by Procyon. A large container covered in a wool cloth sat on her lap. She lifted the cloth revealing a barn owl. The owl fluttered its wings and made a hoot sound.
"Hiya, I'm Procyon! This is Saltus" Procyon said.
"I'm Kaiser. This is Tuffsy" Kaiser said.
"I'm Autumn! This is Windsor. I hope we can explore Hogwarts! Oooh! I still can't believe I'm gonna learn magic! I never even knew I was a witch! Sorry about the ranting... Don't mind me!" Autumn said.
"Muggleborn huh? Cool!" Procyon said.
"Muggleborn?" Autumn said remembering what that meant.
"Your parents are muggles, cant do magic right?" Procyon asked.
"My mom is a muggle, but my dad is a wizard"
Kaiser said.
"So your w half blood, and your both familiar with the muggle world? What's it like?" Procyon asked.
"You tell me what the magical world is like, and it's a deal!" Autumn cheerfully requested.
"I've been to the Diagon Alley a few times in the past" Kaiser said.
"Isn't Diagon Alley the best?!" Autumn asked.
"I know right?!" Kaiser said.
"Diagon Alley is pretty great" Procyon responded.
The three chuckled and began telling stories. Procyon talked about growing up in a wealthy pureblood family, and his interests at Hogwarts. Autumn mostly talked about her favorite novels, and her love of adventure. Kaiser mostly compared his time in the muggle world to his brief time in the magical world.
Eventually a woman with a trolley cart covered in treats came by. Procyon having more than enough allowance, offered to get them treats. Both Kaiser and Autumn picked something random. Kaiser got a Candy Wand and and a Pumpkin Pasty. Autumn got a Chocolate Frog and some Fizzing Whizzbees. Procyon got his favorite treat, a box of Berty Botts Every Flavor Beans.
The trio continued to make jokes and tell stories, and ask each other questions before the train eventually arrived at their destination. They along with all the other eager young students had finally arrived at Hogwarts. By the time they had arrived they had already went to changing rooms, and dawned their school robes. The students now excited to get off the train.
