“Red! Wake up! You’re going to be late to get a Pokémon from Professor Oak!”
“Mmhmhm, just five more minutes!” Red replied. “If you’re late don’t blame me!”
30 minutes later.
“Aaaah! Mom why didn’t you wake me up?!” Red yelled as he ran down the stairs.
“You told me that when you were 10 years old you could wake yourself up!” Reds mom replied.
“Aaugh! I still have to get dressed!” Red yelled running back up stairs.
5 minutes later.
Red was running down the path to Oaks laboratory.
“Oh Red, you made it just in time. There is one more Pokémon I left just for you.” Professor Oak said.
“Oh thank you!”
The both of them went inside.
There was a pokeball that had the words “extra” on them.
Red grabbed the pokeball.
“Pokeball, go!” He cried.
Out came a geometrical Pokémon.
“That is called Porygon. It is the virtual Pokémon.” Oak explained.
“Woah! I’ve never heard of it before!” Said Red, “Well, I’m going to go out on my journey! Goodb-“
“Wait!” Oak called. “You can’t start your journey without these,”
Oak held out 5 pokeballs and a Pokédex.
“Oh yeah! I forgot.” Red sauce as he grabbed the items from Oaks hand.
“Alright! Goodbye!”
“G’bye!”
Red started to run down Route 1.
While running, he ran into a Pokémon.
“Alright! A Rattata! Pokeball go!”
Red threw the pokeball.

“Yes! I got Rattata!”
Rattata has been registered to your Pokédex!
“Alright! Let’s go do some training!”
Red walked down to Viridian city.
“Alright, I think I should try the gym here!”
He walked up to the door, when suddenly, a guard appeared.
“How many gym badges do you have?”
The guard asked.
“Uhm, none. This is my first gym.”
Red replied.
“Hold it! You need to have at least 7 gym badges to fight the Viridian city gym leader! If you want to fight a gym, go to Pewter city!”
And off he went, trucking down Viridian Forest.
“Oh look! A Caterpie! Go Porygon!”
“Pory— go-o-o-o-on!”
“Alright, Porygon use Tackle!”
“Pory!”
The wild Caterpie fainted.
“Aww dang it!”
Red finally made it to pewter city, where he healed up his Pokémon and headed for the gym.
