My Journey Through Galar: My Journey Through Galar Part 4

by GachaPandaCutie

GachaPandaCutie I battle the Grass gym leader, Milo and learn about the darkest day with Hop and Sonia by my side. Hop and I travel to Hulbery and beat the water type gym leader, Nessa. (Read parts 1,2, & 3 first!)
I took a deep breath, ready for the battle ahead of me. I walked to the center of the grassy field, looking at my opponent, Milo. We introduced ourselves, and battled. He sent out his Gossifleur, while I sent out my Scorbunny. I one-shotted his Gossifleur, waiting for what Pokemon was next. He sent out Eldegloss, which he Dynamaxed. I Dynamaxed my Scorbunny, and used Max Flare to top it all off and land me the win. Milo congratulated me, telling me that based off a battle like that, I could go far into the gym challenge.
I received my Grass badge, A shiny gold puzzle piece looking thing with a green leaf on it. I walked off the field, happy with my success, hearing the crowd roar like a pride of lions. I met up with Hop in the lobby of the gym, both excited about the win of our rival. We walked out of the gym and sat on one of the benches facing a giant grass mural.
Hop thinks it's about Dynamaxing, but I think it's about the darkest day which is a storm that caused Dynamaxing. We agreed on Dynamaxing, and Sonia appeared. She told us that it WAS about dynamaxing, but it was also about the darkest day. I kind of enjoyed learning about dynamax history. I looked and saw one of those photo cutout boards. "Wanna take pictures?" They agreed. We took three photos, one with Hop and I, One with Sonia and I, and one with Sonia and Hop.
Sonia had to go back to the lab to research, and feed Yamper, so Hop and I continued towards Hulbury. We bought these foldable bikes, and rode across the long bridge to Hulbury. When we arrived, we saw the gym, it was identical to the grass gym, but blue. "That has to be Nessa's gym!" I could tell Hop was excited.
We saw a restaurant, and since we didn't eat since last night, so we went inside the restaurant and waited for a table. A waitress approached us, "Hello, how many people?" we replied at the same time, "2 people please." Hop and I looked at each other and blushed. The waitress lead us to our table, which had a cute, perfect table cloth. when we sat down, the waitress asked us wait we would like to eat and drink. Hop ordered some kind of soda with a steak, while I went with a lemonade and a fish burger. We also shared a bowl of fries, which were AMAZING.
After we paid, we got out our bikes and rode over to see the lighthouse. When we were there, I folded up my bike and leaned against the railing. "The view, it's beautiful." Hop was sitting on a bench, struggling to fold his bike, but he looked up anyway. "Yeah, it looks like the ocean never ends." Hop successfully folded his bike after a while and put it in his bag. He walked to the railing and pointed out something. "Woah look!" I looked, but only saw water. I knew it. "Made you look!" We looked around Hulbury and found a cute little shopping center. I bought some stuff, then we just walked around. After we explored Hulbury and it's beautiful ocean view, we headed into the gym. Hop let me battle Nessa first, since he battled Milo first. This is it. Second badge, here I come!
I walked to the center of the field, Seeing Nessa, The Water Type Gym Leader. Her Pokemon were a bit easy to beat, but her last Pokemon, Drednaw, was hard to crack. Drednaw Dynamaxed, leaving my team like ants. I Gigantamaxed my Pikachu, used G-Max Volt Crash one or two times, and won another badge. I thanked Nessa for the battle, excited for my new badge. "Don't go thanking me, I haven't had a good battle like that since Leon joined the gym challenge!" She handed me my new shiny gym badge, another weird gold shaped piece, but this one had a blue water droplet. "Head into the second Galar mine, then Into Motostoke, where you will battle Kabu, The Fire Type Gym Leader. Good luck trainer."
I walked off the field, looking for Hop when I entered the lobby again. "Maddie! Wow, that battle was amazing!" He smiled, looking at me. "Now it's my turn for an amazing battle!" He ran onto the the field, and battled pretty well. After his battle, he showed me his well deserved, and identical water badge. While we left Hulbury, I knew I would miss the beautiful ocean view. The second Galar Mine was a lot darker than the other one, and the only light were these sparkling crystals. The deeper we went into the dark cave, the darker it got. I tripped on a rock, which caused me to scrape my knee. Good thing Mom made me pack band-aids.
When we exited the cave, we were back in Motostoke. It was almost 7:00 pm, and I saw the Budew Inn. "C'mon Hop, It's getting dark." When we entered the inn, we re-rented our old rooms and let our Pokemon socialize with each other a bit in the Pokeroom downstairs. The Pokeroom closed at 9:00 pm, but Hop and I were still wide awake at 10:00. We walked around the quiet hallways, bored as heck. But finally, Hop yawned. He was starting to get tired, so He went to his hotel room and told Me goodnight. I was getting a bit tired too, so I went in my hotel room and tried to sleep.

I'm sorry, I cant make a part 5 on time today, I was like 3 sentences into finishing it, but I had to do something for school, and it deleted ALL of my work. I might be able to somehow recover my work today, or I will make it on Monday
