The official Pokémon Twitter account has announced that new information for Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield is coming our way in two days, on August 7th at 2 PM BST (9 AM EST/6 AM PST).

We currently don't know if the information will be presented as a Pokémon Direct or a trailer (or something else entirely), but be sure to tune in!

Some exciting news dropped today for those of you living in the UK. In celebration of Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield's release on November 15th, and to pay tribute to the Galar region being so heavily inspired by the United Kingdom, it's been announced that a pop-up Pokémon Center will be making its way to London, England, later this year for a limited time. A brand new distribution has been announced for Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let's Go, Eevee! owners in Europe and the UK! This event will give trainers the chance to get their hands on a level 70 Mewtwo.

Now available in a preview-form (effectively an open beta), the latest mobile game from The Pokémon Company and DeNA, Pokémon Masters, definitely stands out from the previous mobile Pokémon games in some very exciting ways. But, it has to be said, it’s not all good news. We’ve had the chance to put some time into the game ahead of its full, global release in the coming weeks and build some initial impressions about this new spin on Pokémon gameplay and the mobile game trappings it’s wrapped up in.

Over on our sister site GameCrash, we've launched some new forums and a new Feature series - the GameCrash Game Club!

Every month we’ll post a new poll on the GameCrash forums for people to choose between a handful of games. After a certain amount of time, that poll will close and the winner will be that month’s game.

We’ll then go our separate ways and play that game over the month, sharing our experiences and tracking our progress as we go. It’s like a book club, but since this isn’t a website about books, it’s for video games instead!

The aim of this club is to go back to games we either might have missed from the past few years or go even further back to remember games from long long ago. So every game we play will be at least about a year...

Good news for Pokémon fans with iOS devices today! Pokémon Rumble Rush has finally been released worldwide on iOS.

It has been announced that The Pokémon Company and Chinese studio TiMi Studio Group are teaming up to create a brand new Pokémon mobile game.

Right now there's no information on what kind of game it is or when it'll be released. TiMi Studio Group are known for developing the Call of Duty: Mobile game.

A brand new trailer for Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield has been released and includes information on several new Pokémon, two new Gym Leaders and a new feature known as Gigantamax. You can check out the trailer and more information after the jump.

A brand new trailer for up-coming mobile game Pokémon Masters has been released today and brought with it some information on what the game is about. You can check out the trailer for yourself after the jump, which we recommend for the really cool anime section at the start!
Attendees at E3 have gotten the chance to experience a demo version of Pokémon Sword and Shield and spotted some new portable atrocities to be encapsulated en-masse.

Ones who just can't seem to keep their tongues in their mouths apparently.

The first is Yamper, an Electric-type Pokémon based on a Corgi - because a UK-based region without a Corgi is as unthinkable as a US-based region without a terribly stereotypical eagle. It was confirmed to have Play Rough, Spark, Crunch and Wild Charge in its move pool, and to have a new ability called Ball Fetch - which, if Yamper isn't already holding an item, fetches the first Pokéball thrown in the encounter that failed to capture its target.

The second is Impidimp, a truly ridiculous cartoon-goblin-looking Dark/Fairy Pokémon which has been shown to know the moves Assurance, Sucker Punch and Play Rough.
