Teal

Teapot Seeing LoN upload his signatures reminded me of one of the only signatures I ever made, which was for the Pokécharms Signature of the Week Contest when that was still a thing, back in 2011. I believe it won that week's competition, whose theme was "Teal."

To my current eyes it's incredibly oversimple and a little tacky now - bokeh aren't anywhere near as fashionable as they were two years ago - but it was one of the many small things that taught me Photoshop.

I really like this. It's like looking at street lights through rainy days. It's very relaxing.

I like it because it's fairly obvious how much of it is your own work. A lot of other people create signatures with "borrowed" artwork, and it bothers me because they don't give credit within the signature file itself. I end up not knowing how much of it was their work and how much was borrowed; and while that's considered acceptable within the sig-making world, to me it comes close to plagiarism.
