Don't stop drawing, its the best way to improve The main thing that stands out is that your proportions seem a little off. If you haven't already, I suggest breaking the drawing down into basic shapes first, or even a stick figure drawing (which is what I do every time I draw something). That should help you keep things more in proportion. In addition, having a piece of reference material on hand can also really help with this. Gotta say though I really like how you've done the fur around Phoenix's face - it suggests quite a nice texture. Anyway hopefully that helps you out a bit :3
