"What is this?"
Everything was dark, but it was also cold. Colder than she was used to. The cleffa blinked, beady little eyes opening to the outside world for the first time. She swayed slightly, struggling to get to her feet. Once she was up she saw cracked shells behind her, and remembered. Right! She had first woken up inside her warm little barrier, but it had felt much to tight and she had pushed her way out of the constricting egg before falling asleep again. Now, mid-afternoon sun shone down and warmed her and the grass around her, but the breeze was cool. She certainly wasn't used to changes in the temperature.
She scanned the area further. She noticed a couple other unhatched eggs, along with boxes just behind them filled with who knows what.
The cleffa decided her first goal was to explore the boxes. Where she was and how she got there wasn't the slightest of her concerns.
The little pokemon waddled over, slowly figuring out how her legs and arms worked, while paying no mind to the surrounding eggs.

Amongst the boxes and the scattered eggs, a young pokemon began twitching inside his home. The thin, delicate barrier that shielded him from the vast world outside had split and blinding shafts of sunlight illuminated the young pokemons home. The alien light had woken him from his slumber and now curiosity beckoned him. Something inside his head told him to push; break out of the confines of his home and follow the light. So he obeyed. His short, scaled legs kicked against the walls. He kicked and kicked until more cracks appeared and the wall was broken down. With one final kick, he opened a hole just wide enough for the young pokemon to crawl out.

His feet hit the ground and a young Jangmo-o stepped into the sunlight. His eyes snapped shut in response to the blinding light. His legs struggled to hold up his body but they did not give way. A cool breeze washed over the Jangmo-o's body and a new sensation hit him. He was cold. But that feeling quickly dissipated as the orange glow from the sun washed over his body, filling him with warmth and comfort. His eyes flickered open and he finally gazed upon the new world which he had been born into.

The grass beneath his feet was a lush and a vibrant green. The sky above his head was featureless, save the blinding light from the sun which was surrounded by a deep blue. He took a closer look at his surroundings. All around him were strange, unusual objects. Most of them were of a similar shape and colour but he had no idea what they were. Scattered around him were smooth, oval shaped objects. Instinct told him that they were eggs, the same thing he had just emerged from. The Jangmo-o started to take wobbly steps towards the eggs when the sound of rustling reached his ears. He turned in the direction of the sound when he saw the first living thing in his life - A newly hatched Cleffa waddling towards one of the strange objects that littered the ground around them.

What were those sounds? Why did they seem so distant and muffled? Why couldn't she hear them clearer? Oh, how she wanted to hear them clearer.

Scrunching her face up in discomfort, the tiny form of a Pokémon wriggled around in what she had known as her home for all of her life. Lately, though, it had been growing smaller and smaller, and she did not know why. It wasn't trying to hurt her, was it?

Again, she wriggled. Her curiosity began to get the best of her as she stretched, accidentally shooting a foot out to the wall of her home, allowing a never-before-seen something to come through. Squinting, her pink form tried to look up at the blinding thing that filtered into her egg, which had rolled onto its side some time before. What was that thing? Why did it hurt to look at?

This feeling of wonder was too great. Wanting to see the rest of what was beyond her shrinking confinement, the baby sucked in a crisp, deep breath, trying not to cough from the new feeling of the cold entering her throat, and inflated her body- something she did not know she could do before then.

The egg shattered. She had really done that?

Popping a large, round eye open, the newly-hatched Igglybuff could still see the bright thing that had decided to attack her vision, and, now temporarily blinded from looking up at it too much, tried to roll away from it. She noticed a dark spot under a tall something, so she decided to go over there.

The tall something almost hurt to run her paw over, but she had to at least touch it if she was ever going to figure out what these extensions on her lower body were good for. Gripping the brown stuff firmly in both paws, Igglybuff tried to pull herself up from the ground. She succeeded for a moment, but as soon as she let go of the object, she tumbled backwards, landing on the soft, green stuff once again. Inflating in anger, she decided that she'd just try those out later. For now, why doesn't she check out her new home?

Thank goodness she was in this dark spot. One of the first things she noticed was two moving figures, and they terrified her. What were those? Were they friendly? She couldn't be sure, so, making sure all the air was out of her system, she curled up at the base of the tall, rough thing and decided to watch the two, just to see if they would try anything against her.

Riolu moved. And he moved. And then he began punching at the barrier around him, after a large feeling that something was wrong. He hit it once, twice, a third time. The comfort around him began to fade. It was bad, something, something was coming through where he was punching. However, he continued. If it broke through, then he might be done for. If he broke through, he could get a hit in. He continued, relentlessly, throwing his legs out as well. The comfort around him vanished in a second. Everything was replaced with a new feeling. A not good feeling.

Then, the comfort was back, slightly, He rolled out of what was left of his old home. For the first time, his eyes saw everything around him. He could see the spikes on the ground that he was laying on.They looked painful, but he already knew they weren't. He wasn't sure what it was, but everything looked different. The world was full of these...Colors? Were his instincts kicking in? Knowledge passed unto him via his parents?

This was very possible. He now knew the thing he came out of was an egg, and the thing beneath him was grass. The colors were named as well. He now thought he knew much more, and he got more confident. He stood up and looked around. There were many more eggs around him. He looked back down at his own. There was something attached to it. On it was a singular word. How did he know what words were? He must have gotten that from his parents as well. The word was "Creed", and he liked the sound of it. He would call himself Creed from now on.

He began walking towards the objects on the ground, wondering what they were.

Once the young Cleffa stood in front of the boxes, she had placed her tiny hands on a smaller one to begin to attempt to open it, however the sounds behind her that she had been ignoring finally spiked her curiosity enough to turn around.
She blinked her eyes at the strange living figures, one was engulfed in shadow and was a little harder to make out. They were the same color as she was though! That made her wiggle. She decided that one was safe.
The other however... It was staring right at her and was plenty more intimidating than the one that was hiding.
She flinched at the intense gaze and maneuvered the small box between herself and the Jangmo-o. (though said box was so small it barely covered half of her)

Creed looked around again and saw multiple moving figures. This was his first sign of life, other than himself, and he thought it looked fun. They were all small or as big as him, and he began walking over to them. They were probably all very nice. The round one positioned itself behind a box, while the other stared at it. The round one looked a little scared, to be honest. Creed walked behind the one staring, and poked it in the back. Not thinking about how this pokemon could be dangerous, he smiled big. Making friends could be fun, he thought.

Another moving thing had joined the others, a wide smile on its face. Igglybuff couldn't help but think that they were all friendly- but that four-legged thing didn't seem so. The female of the group seemed afraid of it, and she felt a shiver run up her own spine at the sight. Deciding that hiding would get her nowhere, she tried to stand again. The rough thing was good support, seeing as it helped to keep her up when she held on to it, but it wasn't very helpful when she tried to move away.

Maybe she didn't have to take steps like the others...?

There was an idea. A curious expression on her face, Igglybuff stood once again from where she had fallen for the third time, held onto the tree, and tried to hop away.

Well, she didn't fall. That was good! Her mouth curled up in a pleased smile as she hopped again, making her way out of the shadows.

Oops.

Fear took over her system again. What if these Pokemon were merely acting innocent? They could easily attack her!

But she couldn't simply leave that girl for dead. Puffing her chest out, Igglybuff let the fear wash away as she bounced towards the others, landing with a soft thump on the box in front of the Cleffa.

"Nice!" she called, a bit taken aback by the foreign sound that was her voice, but she used it once more to continue. "Be nice!"

The young Jangmo-o watched the small, spherical pokemon carefully as it manoeuvred one of the unnatural objects between it and him. He had no idea what this life-form was but instinct told him that it felt intimidated. The Jangmo-o was about to approach it when something unexpected happened.

The pokemon felt a light tap on it's back. Startled, his dragon-type instincts kicked in, despite his age, and he span to face the threat head on. His newly born body struggled to handle the sudden movement and his legs strained to hold his body off the ground. The pokemon that stood before him didn't appear threatening to the Jangmo-o but his gaze remained locked on it. Even when a unknown sound called out from his left, where the other unknown life-form was, he kept his gaze fixed on the pokemon stood before him. So many things were happening so fast and the young Jangmo-o struggled to process all the new information.

The young Cleffa was too focused on the Jangmo-o to notice the Pokemon who shared her color making its way over, that is until it landed on her impromptu-barrier.
She felt safer with someone else on her side, though her view of the pokemon that now had the Jangmo-o's attention was blocked, so she focused on the one in front of her.
The sound it made made sense in her mind and she opened her little mouth to see if she could do that too.
"You," she started. "are my color!"

With the intimidating Pokemon now occupied, the Igglybuff was free to turn around to face the smaller one that had made noises at her. Her smile grew as she processed what she had said for a moment, taking her some time to make sense of the words. Closing her eyes happily, she hopped a bit on the hard thing she stood on, almost falling off each time. "Yeah, yeah!" she replied, slowly, sounding each word out and clapping her tiny paws together, "you too! You are my color, too!"

Her foot slipped, sending her spherical form toppling down to the ground. Landing on her back, the Igglybuff giggled cutely, kicking its legs around wildly in sudden excitement. Using her paws and the ground to get up again, she briefly looked to the Jangmo-o and Riolu, before turning back to the Cleffa and waving. "Hi, my color!"

Creed smiled and waved, looking at the Jangmo-o. "Creed. I'm, Creed." He said, hearing the sound of his voice for the first time. It was slightly scary and wierd, but he smiled anyways. He watched the two pokemon talk behind the Jangmo-o and smiled. "Friends?" He looked around the area, and then smelled something. He nudged the pokemon in front of him away, and looked at the box. He smelled it again, and his stomach rumbled. He raised his hand and brought it down, smashing the box and revealing the contents. Berries poured out, most of them smelling delicious to the Riolu. He grabbed one and began eating. The new sensation of taste was amazing, it made him want more.

The Cleffa giggled with the Igglybuff, watching her topple over and hopping with enthusiasm.
"Hello, also my color!"
Her mood was interrupted when the larger blue toned pokemon came sniffing over, she didn't move at first as her curiosity wanted her to see what the stranger was up to.
She squealed in fear when he smashed the box, scrambling back and preparing to run as far as she could if necessary; however she glanced back to see the Riolu digging into the box's contents and eating what he found.
She came to a stop as her curiosity spiked again and she glanced at the Igglybuff before cautiously waddling back over to investigate.

Creed watched the pokemon looking at him, which he thought was weird, and pulled one of the tasty berries out, tossing it at it. He also tossed one at the other two, hoping for the Jangmo-o to be friendly and the Igglybuff to come over. He wanted them to be nice, but he also wanted to be able to spar, so he wasn't sure which was better. "Food, Yummy!" He smiled and laughed, winking at the pokemon. He grabbed another one and ate that one too. He ate a few more until he was entirely full, and he stepped back and sat down.

Igglybuff caught the Cleffa's glance as she, too, looked to the Riolu that rummaged through the now-smashed box's belongings. A round something was thrown at her, and she was able to catch it in her tiny arms, but it took all her control and strength not to fall over from the power of the Berry. Man, did this thing smell good! Deeply, she inhaled the scent of the thing, watching the Riolu take a bite of his own. Wondering if it was a good idea, she did the same. The blue thing sent a really good feeling into her mouth, and she hummed in satisfaction at this new sensation- taste. As soon as she swallowed, the Igglybuff held the Berry high above her head. "Yummy is right! So good!" She took another bite, relishing in the taste once more.

Cleffa jumped at the berry being thrown at her, but she picked it up in her little arms and looked at Igglybuff again to see her happily eating the object. This made the remainders of the Cleffa nerves melt away and she curiously took a bite. And another bite.
She quickly finished the berry as her tummy ached and the flavor filled her mouth, so she waddled closer to the Riolu and boldly reached down to grab another for herself.

Riolu just sat and watched, he didn't really care. He had just found them, it didn't mean they were his. "Food is yummy, but I'm full. I'll take a nap." Creed said, laying on his side. He thought about what happened today. He was born, he ate food, and maybe made friends. He was upset that he didn't train, but that couldn't be helped. It was at this time that he realized his hand hurt. He must've hit the box a little too hard.

Froakie awoke in a dark husk. He was frightened at were he was. Froakie did something any frog of hi age would do. Punch the wall! He punched the coarse, dark prison around him. Froakie only broke a small piece of the shell, but this let enough light through that Froakie wanted more. The punches from Froakie didn't stop until he was out of his egg. His hands were bruised now, but he was free.He had no other way to get out of his birth chamber. He saw oher Pokémon there. He was frighted by them and went to run back to his egg. He slipped on a cracked piece and landed hard. Froakie started to cry in pain. Laying there, He just kinda stopped crying. And moving. He was knocked unconsious by the tiny eggshell that he had slipped on.

The Cubone woke up, it was pitch black. He couldn't see anything, or think what to do. Then, The Cubone punched through the wall surrounding him. Light filled his broken cage. The Cubone climbed out of the hole he made, and saw all the other pokemon. There were about 5 more, but of Course, The Cubone couldn't count. He was only a hatchling. "H-Hello?" The Cubone asked the other pokemon. A tear fell down the Cubone's eye. The light seemed to become too bright for him. he wasn't used to it.

The Jangmo-o was rather taken aback by the Riolu's calm demeanour, so much so that he didn't know how to react or respond. So he didn't. Instead, he tried to relax himself. His new body had become rather tense in that whole situation and the pokemon disliked that feeling. He knew that he needed to trust these pokemon. He did not know why, or even what trust exactly was but he felt it.

The Jangmo-o watched as the pokemon, who called himself Creed, moved towards the strange objects. Puzzled, the dragon-type watched as Creed reached inside one of the mysterious objects and removed something before he shattered it. Then the aroma hit him. A new sensation filled his body as the aroma of berries filled his nostrils. He looked on as the other pokemon joined Creed in consuming the berries.

Unable to resist any longer, the Jangmo-o hurried towards the other pokemon, relishing in the sweet smells that filled his mind. There was a peach berry with a pair of green leaves perched on a flat end that specifically caught his gaze. Unlike the others, he had no arms so he lowered his head to the ground and bit into the berry. It's soft flesh collapsed under his powerful jaws and a feeling of euphoria hit the Jangmo-o. Another new sensation filled his mind - Taste. The pokemon devoured the berry with ease before moving onto a different one. This time it was a blue, spherical berry and it tasted just as good as the last one.

The dragon-type had noticed that the rest of the group were abled to communicate through sound yet he was the only one who had yet to do so. The Jangmo-o opened his mouth and attempted to speak.

"F-food g-good" He stumbled as he spoke for the first time.

Cleffa tensed up when the Jangmo-o made a move towards the box, which was now becoming quite empty. He clearly ate just like they did, which meant he wasn't going to eat them. When he spoke, however, is when the Cleffa relaxed. He really wasn't so different after all.
"Yeah! Really good!" She chirped, happily nibbling at the berry in her arms.
She acknowledged the Riolu, she recalled he had asked to be called Creed, as he stepped back from the food.
A nap... A nap sounded nice. But she wanted to eat more first, and maybe explore.
At the new sounds back towards the eggs, Cleffa glanced over, mouth full, to see two new pokemon, one appeared to be sleeping and the other looked very sad. She gave as wide a smile she could with her mouth full and waved to the new hatchlings.

The Cubone was Taken back at the pink pokemon that waved at him. The Cubone couldn't say anymore. He didn't have much vocabulary. He walked down to all the other Hatchlings. "H-Hello?" He asked them again. He looked down at the food. he popped some into his mouth. it was a sensation. It was pretty good for a first meal. The Cubone ate some more. He wasn't crying anymore, but his eyes still had tears in them. "Y-Yum." The Cubone said to no one in particular.

The small group had mentioned nap time, and Igglybuff decided taking a break after such an adventure might not be such a bad idea. Looking around to the others, her eyes full of wonder, she noticed yet another two eggs crack open to reveal a couple of late hatchers, one of which was also munching on a Berry. Why did he have tears in his eyes?

"No sad," said Igglybuff, hopping up to the Cubone and patting his paw in a friendly manner, a wide smile on her face. "Yum is right!" Taking another bite of her own Berry, she smiled yet again, glancing back to the other new hatchling. This one wasn't moving. What had happened?

"Eh?" Placing her Berry on the grass, she hopped over to the Froakie, who was knocked unconscious, and poked his shoulder. "Okay? You?" When she got no response, she began to panic, turning back to the others with wide eyes. "Not okay! What do!?"

The Cubone noticed the knocked out Froakie. "H-Hurt?" The Cubone said. He started to Bawl. "Hurt! No more Hurt! No more!" The Cubone said through tears. He dropped his berry. "Hurt... No Hurt!" the Cubone exclaimed. "No No No No No Nooooo..." The cubone covered his eyes.

(Apologies for the short post)

The Jangmo-o happily ate at the berries. He tail was swishing from left to right which indicated feelings of happiness and content. Eat bite was like an explosion inside his mouth and he was almost oblivious to the world around him.

He remained that way until the cry for help pierced his ears and the sound of crying filled the air. Turning his attention away from the food, the pokemon looked up and around to see what was happening. He saw a new pokemon, clutching a bone. It was crying. He then saw the other pink pokemon standing over a small blue mass and she looked concerned.

The dragon-type hurried as fast as his legs could carry him to the pokemon lying on the floor. It wasn't moving. He looked back up at the round pokemon. "What h-happen?" He asked as he nudged the pokemon on the floor with his right foot.

(Sorry, I'm busy, so my post isn't to long.)
Froakie struggled to stand. He observed as Jangmo-o rushed to Cubone. The small frog wandered over to the pair and said,"My name is ... Wait, wats my name?" Froakie said in baby voice. He looked at the floor and started to move his hands around on it.

The Cleffa had watched as the other pokemon had gathered around the 'sleeping' pokemon, letting out gasps and cries of worry. She, however, just sat and continued to finish her berry, confused as to why the attention was no longer around her and the yummy food.

She picked the last berry from the box as she watched the Froakie stand and dashed over to hand the berry to the hatchling.
"Here! Yummy food!"

"What is... name?" The Cubone asked. He was happy that the froakie got up, but his eyes were still swelling with tears. The Cubone stood up and walked over to the Cleffa. "What you name?" he asked her. "What my name?" He asked himself. he turned to the Froakie. "Hi. You feeling better?" He asked him.

"Yeah, but hurt my weg!" Froakie cried. He looked at the scrap on his leg and his screaming intensified. A warm breeze swept across his face and he smiled a little bit, only to go back to crying after it stopped. His tears drenched the floor and he started to stop. Froakie played with his puddle of tears for a little bit," I wuv water!" He cheered.

"W-water looks scary..." The Cubone said. He tried felling something, but he couldn't quite find it. "B-Bone! Bone gone!" The Cubone started to bawl. Tears flowed down from the skull on his head. At this point he would've dropped his bone. But, he didn't have it. So then he dropped himself to the ground, Tears falling to ground. "Bone Bone bone!" The Cubone screamed.

(This is gonna be short. I haven't got a lot to work with right now)

The sudden screeching that erupted from one of the new pokemon caused the Jangmo-o to wince in pain. His newly born ears were not yet used to loud, high-pitched sounds. He was caught off by the sudden burst of sound and he could barely register were the sound was even coming from. But the distress was clear on his face and his eyes were clenched tightly together.

The dragon couldn't take it much longer, he opened his eyes and tried to identify what the sound was and where it was coming from. His gazed rested on the small brown pokemon with a white head, crying on the floor. It had to be the only thing so he rushed towards the pokemon.

"Stop. Bad. Noise bad!" He said to the pokemon, trying his best to raise his young voice.

Too many things were happening too quickly. A bit dizzy, Igglybuff managed to roll over to the Jangmo-o, who seemed to obtain a new annoyed attitude towards the Cubone. "Shup!" she slurred, brow furrowed in annoyance of her own, as she pointed to the Dragon-type with a stubby paw. "Not nice! Be nice! He sad! Must be nice, or no friends!"

Sending one last, seemingly out-of-character glare over to the Jangmo-o, the Fairy-type hopped over to the Cubone, placing a paw on his back reassuringly. "You okay? No sad... It's okay... Shhh..." She tried to figure out exactly why he was crying, hearing him scream about his bone. "Uh-oh. Me find the b-booone!" Igglybuff sounded the word out, smiling trimphantly once she succeeded. "You calm. Me find bone!"

Looking all around, the newborn wasn't exactly sure where said bone had gone, so, with one pat on the Cubone's back, she set off all around the clearing, searching for the bone so peace would come over the group once again.

The Cleffa blinked at the Cubone. A name? She had no idea what a name was, or what hers was. Something to call herself, it would have to be pretty cool! Because she was cool, right?
She was torn from her thoughts when the Cubone started crying.
She stood and watched, shaking her tiny arms with confusion as the Jangmo-o shouted at th Cubone and the Igglybuff then tried to comfort it. The Igglybuff ran off in search of something, so the Cleffa was inclined to follow, waddling behind her.
"I'll help!"
