You will start during the beginning of the infection. All Players begin in the small town of Saxondale. It's a bit secluded, and out of the way. The infection has only just reached here, but no one knows about Walkers... yet. The biggest news on that topic is simply people going crazy and cannibalistic. there is no info of the dead rising, yet. The Town is Country, but big enough to hold nearly a thousand residents. There is the main town, which consists of a Barber's Shop, a Town Hall, several Diners, a McDonalds, a Police Station, a School, a Pet Care, a tiny Hospital, a Donut Shop, a small Theatrical Theater, a Cinematic Theater, a local Super Market, several Gas Stations, small Apartment Buildings, and several abandoned Buildings. Just outside town is the Farmlands, where many farms can be found, obviously, and then a long stretch of Forestry on all sides. The nearest City is miles and miles away. North of Saxondale is the Mountains, east is the main forest, which stretches on forever. West are other Country Towns miles away, and South, miles away, is the Interstate. Take the Interstate East, and you'll eventually come upon Xale City, a very Populated area. Take the Interstate West, and you'll eventually come upon another Country Town called Kabridge Town. This is Open World, and only lightly progressed by plot. There will not be a whole lot of ready made story arcs made by me, the GM, as you, the Players, will get to make this game your own, and produce your own amazing story arcs.

Appearance: 6'0". 189 lb's. Lean, but husky, with broad, but slender Shoulders. Short, Wavy dark Brown Hair that grows fast. Tan skin, Brown Eyes. Rather toned.

Occupation (Optional): School
Personality: Normally Kind and Caring towards others, but focuses usually solely on doing the right thing. Attempts to be morally correct all the time, but abides by the rules, and has set standards. But, he tries to fit in, and that can temporarily make him try to be a different person at times. Isn't a Follower, but isn't a Leader either.
Strengths & Weaknesses: Is Morally collect and lawful, and just. He tries to be perfect for everyone he cares about, and would sacrifice himself for those he loves. He is intelligent, and has a decent amount of Wisdom, but can be easily seduced, as he has a weakness towards Women, and he also has trouble saying 'no'.
Alignment: Lawful Neutral
Backstory: Grew up on a Farm, a typical Country Boy who's trying to find a way to fit in. He is athletic, but also a nerd, and fits into most groups at school. He has a lot of friends, and has no trouble making new ones, as he's very accepting.

Strengths & Weaknesses: Is skilled with tools and Guns, Driving, and Riding Horses. Rather intelligent and Strong minded.

Backstory (Optional): Raised on a Farm, was brought up to be the House Mother, instead, she did her own thing, riding Horses, training to be a Police Officer, and wrestling her Brothers, she was outright not what her Mother wanted to be, but what her Father wanted her to be, before he passed away from an illness. She focuses heavily on her studies as she one day hopes to become a Police Officer in the Big City.

Appearance: Van has dark black hair that often gets in his eyes. His eyes are a deep shade of blue, while his skin is a more peachy tint. He wears a skin tight sleeveless black tee, with a blue open hoodie over it. He wears black baggy jeans and black converse sneakers. He has a thin frame, but packs a lot of muscle and hardly and fat in his thin frame. He stands at about 6'1" and weighs in at about 126 lbs. His face is thin, with a small line of freckles across his nose.

Personality: Van is creative, but overall introvert. He cares for other people immensely, and hates bullies. He may not be very social, but if he sees bulling at all, he can't stand it. He's broken too many fingers belonging to local bullies to count, and even they fear him, not to mention his other classmates. He sometimes hacks into school cameras or files, to help other people, even though no one knows he does this. Teachers call him a troublemaker, and claim he is always up to someting. Which, is true. He is always thinking and planning. He is a writer, but shows no opinion on matters, including school government, and such, making him a very effective bias free writer.
Strengths & Weaknesses: Van was always a quiet kid. He was a constant writer, securing him as head of the High School Newspaper. However, he wasn't as he had seemed. His father, whom was a military man decided to have his son, learn multiple forms of combat, including hand to hand, basic martial arts, and weaponry. This gave him a lot of knowledge. He has complete mastered sword combat, and small pistol combat. However he has less luck with heavier weapons. He also is one to over analyze sometimes. He is a skilled hacker and is tech savvy. He also has a photographic memory. He is the world's worst driver, despite knowing how to drive, he can't seem to drive a car successfully without crashing into something. So instead he rides his bike.
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Backstory (Optional): Van's mother died during birth, leaving Van with his ex-military father. His father was a very strict man, and raised Van to what he is. He taught the boy forms f combat and ways to defend himself, and giving Van, in a sense, a strong moral compass. His father doesn't seem to care, when Van gets into trouble at school, often lettting Van do whatever he wants, because as he quotes, "he's practically his own man now." Van is a school troublemaker, but in a sense, he's a school vigilante. He is also head of the School Newspaper. Teachers do 't generally like him, except for Mr. Meyers, whom is the head language arts teacher and started the School Newspaper.

Personality: He's a liar and pretty annoying with some people, but kind and caring when he want to. Gabe usually do what is best for him and his group. He will always do what it seems to be the most advantegeous thing to do at the moment.
Strengths & Weaknesses: Gabriel is very smart and very good at talking his way. He have a athletic body and is pretty resistant. His bigger flaw is his his lack of patience, he will do what he think it's better without thinking about the future or it's consequences.
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Backstory: Gabe grew up in the big city with his parents. He was kind with everyone and loved to make people happy. It wasn't perfect, his parents used to fight, a lot, but they were happy together. And then everything went to hell. When he was 7 his father caused a car accident while arguing with his mom, they both died and Gabriel was left as the sole survivor. He was then sent to live with his aunt and her husband, a cop and a lawyer, they never treated Gabe as a son, but they teached him things, when he should listen, when he should stay silent and when he should act.

Name: Jack Everett

Appearance: Standing at about 5 ft 9 Jack isn't the most intimidating guy around. He makes up for his height with a deep voice, muscular physique and the ability to give a glare that could make a charging bull falter. He has a short shock of dark brown hair that is almost the same colour as his eyes, with a scattering of faint freckles around his nose. Dark and thick eyebrows help to emphasise any expression on his face. His right eyebrow even has a small chunk taken out of it due to a tiny burn he received whilst working.
Age: 19
Occupation (Optional): Is currently in an apprenticeship with the police as their engineer. He fixes cars and equipment for them on a regular basis.
Personality: Due to the fact he is a schizoid Jack doesn't really ever display much emotion. It takes a lot to break the young man out of his usual quiet and serious moods but when it does happen you'll see one of two sides of him. 1. You made him happy, well done you! He can be a good laugh once he realises he can be comfortable around you. 2. You made him angry or upset, so be prepared for the quiet guy to get rather explosively angry.
Strengths & Weaknesses: Being a schizoid makes it hard for Jack to associate well with other people and this has led to a lack of friends in life. So his social skills aren't the best. He is a talented engineer but he doesn't know everything, he is only and apprentice so there is a limit to what he knows. Fear of spiders, damn things give him the creeps.
Alignment: True neutral.
Backstory (Optional): Most of this you wont need to know but Jack did always dream of being in the police rather than an engineer but was forced to settle for what he could get. His lack of friends led to years of bullying but he doesn't mind that anymore, he knows it helped make him who he is today. He actually recently moved out of his parents home and into a small flat of his own.

Personality: Tony is a very cynical yet calm person. He's always got a comeback ready even if he doesn't go out of his way to talk with people. Even though his initial attitude may make him seem dimwitted but its just his way of waving people off. He's actually very sly with his words and convincing. He's also a bit of a jokester.
Strengths & Weaknesses: Tony is good at manipulating people, having a naturally friendly face and calm, empathic demeanor, people tend to trust him quickly. He's had training with a combat knife and carries a switchblade on his person at all times just in case. Unfortunately, he is impatient and can become short tempered if forced to wait on something. This anger can cloud his judgement and cause him to make bad decisions.
Alignment: True Neutral
Backstory (Optional): Not much to tell really. His father left when before he was born and he was raised by his mom. They were never really close and he didn't connect with many people at school so he was a bit unknown. That being said, he could easily make friends if he wanted to but he finds no obligation towards others as a safer alternative.

Backstory: Raised by a good mother but an drunk and violent father, she learned too soon that life wasn't exactly a piece of cake. After her father found a new family she had to take care of her mother, who was left in pieces. One years prior the current events, just when she turned 18 her mother died. She started to live with some highschool friends while working at the local grocery store.

Btw, Lirya is the last person I am accepting until either a main character dies off, or until the next Season begins, but that'll require a lot of time.

Personality: Cunning and ruthless to enemies. Has a soft spot for children, and has a hard time killing child zombies.
Strengths & Weaknesses: The child zombie thing is a weakness. An expert with a bow and arrow.
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Backstory: Luke was in class when the zombies began to attack. He and a few of his friends escaped through the windows of a classroom and went to the woods. The group made makeshift weapons, including a bow and arrow for Luke. They have survived for two days, hiding out in the woods near a main road, waiting and watching. Luke's parents (particularly his father) were preparedness nutcases, and stockpiled supplies. Luke and his group were unable to get to them, however, because there were a lot of zombies around.
