Pikachu is electric type. Electric types are weak to Ground types and Golem is ground type and used mud slap (ground type move... somehow.)

Mimikyu is Ghost and Fairy type. Ground types do normal damage and Mimikyu used Shadow Claw, which was a critical hit.
