"Zel come get me" Jasper yelled she was now a year and a half old she had been coming out painting with me and our mother but she was always so hyper

"ok" Jasper yelled tripping i softly grabbed the collar of her shirt putting her back on her feet grabbing her scarf to keep her from running away she hugged my legs as we both laid next to mom as she painted till she was done and we walked home i carried little jasper on my back she tired herself out we walked in to our home and dad came taking jasper off me putting her to bed to nap as mom and I went shopping not much happened over the next year and a half but that's when it would all change
"look how tall your getting" Dad said as he marked the now three year old Jasper's height on the wall she cheered running about in joy I stood against the wall and dad chuckled marking the wall at my head "and as always you haven't changed" he said just marking the same spot he always did i knew i wouldn't grow any more but i still liked to feel involved
"You ready to go out dear" mom asked dad walked over and kissed her
"yup come on kids" dad yelled I laid down letting Jasper on my back and we headed out to a spot outside of town where Pokémon never were we came to eat out here sometimes as a family we began eating the meal mom had slaved over that day she was way too good to us i looked over at my little sister she looked really happy eating she had begun to wear that ball mom found me in as a necklace i don't know why she did but she did after she was done eating jasper got up and ran off in to the forest
"Oh no Zel can you get her" Mom asked i got up following my sister "don't go too far" she yelled i managed to catch Jasper she was looking at a tree i tried to push her back towards our parents but she wouldn't move
"Stop" jasper said
"What is it" i asked for some reason when i spoke only she could understand
"look" she said pointing at the tree i looked up to see a fruit a rainbow berry fruit was hard to come by here and rainbow berries even harder they say it brings good luck "Zel help me get it" Jasper asked i sighed dipping my head and she got on i lifted myself up as high as i could and jasper stood on my head trying to reach the berry almost slipping of my head but she managed to grab it pulling it from the tree sitting on my back "we did it" she cheered i smiled
"Wanna share it with mom and dad" i asked
"yeah yeah" Jasper cheered when we heard a scream a horrifying scream "mom dad" Jasper yelled i bolted back to our spot but we were to late mom and dad laid there in a pool of their own blood their bodies smashed behind them was the culprit the same Pokémon that had attacked me and jasper before the rock monster Rhyperior
"what have you done" i screamed the Pokémon didn't react only charged at me i let out a tri colored bolt from my mouth it smashed the monster freezing him Jasper jumped from my back looking at our parents even she knew they were gone i nuzzled her softly i-it was all my fault i should have just come back with jasper i let my guard down just once and this happens
"what now" Jasper asked i picked her up placing her on my back walking us back to town some of the villagers looked at us cause of Jaspers sobbing one pointed a sword at me i backed up "what are you doing" Jasper asked
"What did this Pokémon do where are you parents" the man asked
"My Brother didn't do anything a Pokémon a bad one it killed them" Jasper wailed holding me tight the villagers looked around shocked our parents had been a big part of our village and they were gone the man lowered his weapon putting his hat to his heart
"I- I'm sorry" he said "we'll get there body's and bury them correctly" he said
"don't bury them in this village" the wise woman said everyone looked at her "they were cursed, cursed because they lived with a Pokémon as you would a human the gods forbid that if they are buried here they will curse us all" she said
"What" Jasper yelled
"You will be cursed to child if you do not cast that Pokémon out" the woman said i growled a bit
"Zel's not a Pokémon he's my brother" Jasper yelled "come on Zel lets go home" she said i began to walk home she opened the door and we went inside she got off my back sitting on the couch looking at the berry we picked throwing it across the room starting to sob i picked up the berry handing it back "i don't want it" she yelled
"Maybe you have to eat it for its luck" i said
"What will luck do mom and dad are gone" Jasper sobbed
"Well maybe if we eat it together then we'll never lose each other" i said Jasper gave a small smile taking half on the berry
"yeah ok" she said eating it and i ate my half i still remember how sweet it was it made me feel warm i sat next to jasper on the couch and she snuggled close "what now" she asked
"We live our life's we still have each other" i said
"Yeah" jasper said just snuggling up sniffing back tears
"If you wanna cry go ahead" i said
"Do you wanna cry" Jasper asked
"Yeah but I'm your big brother i have to be there for you" i said

"You when you're ready" i said Jasper smiled when there was a knock at the door we went to open it and a villager was there
"hello i" he started then recoiled seeing me i backed out of his field of view and he relaxed a bit "we found your parents and buried them just outside the village limits I'm sorry for your loss" he said leaving
"So they believe in that old woman before they believe us" i said saddened
"I don't think you did it" Jasper said i nodded
"I know" i said "you know i am a Pokémon right" i asked
"You can't be Pokémon are mean" Jasper yelled
"I have to be one i certainly am not human" i said Jasper sighed walking off laying in bed "you alright" i asked
"So why aren't other Pokémon like you" she asked
"i don't really know" i said laying next to her getting the blankets over us she snuggled up over the next few weeks Jasper and I learned how to live without mom and dad even without jobs we got enough food from villagers who felt sorry for Jasper's loss when one day there was a lot of noise outside people clamoring around something
"Zel I'm going out to see what's happening" Jasper said i didn't leave the house as often as before without moms protection people were pretty horrible to me hocking rocks and other items Jasper left the house and i watched from the window something was in the middle of the rode it looked nice i caught a glimpse of some people in front of the thing as Jasper pushed her way in front they began to talk but i couldn't hear i made out a man and young boy with crowns were they the royalty of this land they were talking to jasper the boy grabbed her hand and said something Jasper looked taken aback shaking her head no the boy looked angry and yelled something to the man and he grabbed Jasper "Zel" she screamed noticing me in the window i burst out running to the front of the crown roaring in the man's face
"You dare roar in the face of a king beast" the man asked i continued to snarl "what do you want"
"Give me to my brother or I'll tell him to blast you" Jasper yelled
"Brother so this beast is yours" the king said "very well he can come" the king said snapping and some soldiers burst out of his carriage they used something to stun me then tackled me i couldn't get up they wrapped a muzzle and roped me to the back of the carriage taking jasper in the carriage with him and the boy as i regained my strength it began to move at high speeds i had no choice but to run with it or be dragged behind soon we arrived at the castle i began to struggle the two people walked out holding Jasper i struggled harder the king sighed "Houndoom you are needed" he yelled like a flash a black and red dog Pokémon rushed to the king side "hit that Pokémon with a rock smash" He said and Houndoom smashed me over the head hard
"Zel" Jasper yelled i got back up finding my strength smashing the back of the carriage freeing myself i ran at the other Pokémon slashing my claws at him but he dodged smashing my head again but i stayed standing
"Houndoom faint him now" the king yelled Houndoom jumped in the air letting out a powerful blaze from its mouth everything went black
