Zack Hunter | Secret Origins: Prolouge

by Hotshot14380

Hotshot14380 Ok, so outside of the pokemon world, my main character, Zack, originally was a teenage superhero/ crime fighter, of the sorts. So I just wanted to write this series expressing who Zack really is, not just the Zack from pokemon world. Hope you guys like this!
The story takes place in Zacks freshman year of high school to start, that's all I'm giving you guys.
Zack woke up to Tim rocking his bed.
"Are you kidding me dude? You didn't even set your fucking alarm! Now get up and get ready we need to go in 20!" Tim shouted at Zack, who was still waking up. His dark red eyes slowly allowed themselves to open, and he managed to sit up. Zack recognized that acorn brown hair with blue eyes anywhere. His eyes focused on Tim, wearing his black shirt with a dark blue dragon on the chest, with neon yellow outline. He was also wearing back his ripped blue jeans and his neon yellow sneakers.
"A-Alrigh- Zzzz... Ah! Ok I'm up!" Zack muttered, getting out of bed. Tim rushed out of Zack's room, and went down stairs. Zack hobbled around his room, eventually getting to his very small bathroom. He looked in the mirror and saw what a mess he was. I should not have spent all last night packing... Zack admitted to himself, finally fully waking up. He took a speedy 2 minute shower while brushing his teeth and got dressed into his average attire. A dark crimson athletic shirt with bright orange highlights, and an orange H imprinted on the face of it. He threw on his neon orange shorts, and tied on his maroon sneaks. To top it off, he put on his white sports glasses and combed his hair in a messy quiff. He flashed a smile at his mirror and hoped out of his bathroom. He grabbed his red backpack and swung it over one shoulder, then grabbed his suitcase.
"Ready for Woodland High? Ready for Woodland High," Zack told himself, taking one more moment to take in the fact he was actually about to head off to an island school. He quickly rushed down the stairs, to see Tim and his parents waiting for him.
"Boy do you make us worry sometimes Zack, now you two run along now and get to your bus, I don't want either of you missing your first day," Tim's mother told him. Zack smirked at the comment and gave Tim a nod, to ask if he ready to go. He nodded back then hugged his parents. Then he rushed out the front door.
"Bye Mr. and Mrs.Thomson! I'll miss you guys!" Zack yelled running out the door.
"Oh, for the last time Zack call us Richard and Tina!" Richard called back.
"Never have, never will sir! Bye!" Zack finished, sprinting after Tim. Just as the two friends arrived at the bus station, so did the bus. The doors opened and Zack and Tim took the first seats they saw.
"Any later, we'd be stuck here waiting for the next bus, probably missing our flight," Tim assured, as he took a minute to catch his breath.
"You can say that again," Zack agreed also regaining stamina. Zack took the bus ride time to think about his life up to now, while Tim fell asleep with earphones in and chip crumbs on his shirt. Zack leaned back in his chair and let memories fuel him. He remembered it was the day his parents had died in a plane crash. He was on a play date with Tim when he over heard the news. Zack wasn't the same for weeks. After months in the orphanage, one day Richard showed up during his lunch. Tim and his family had decided to take Zack in, even though they could barely support the family as it was. Zack knew he forever owed them, which was a small price to pay. He got into small private school with Tim, and went there from 5th grade to 8th. That was until the two friends applied for Woodland, and somehow got in.
Zack snapped out of his confusion when him and Tim hit there stop. He woke up Tim as Tim did to Zack earlier that morning, by shaking his chair. They got there stuff, rushed through the airport, and got onto there plan. After 12 hours of non stop flying, Zack and Tim arrived in California. Then the two took a cab down the docks, and finally ordered a ride to Woodland island.
"Phew! That went by faster than I expected to be honest, were already almost at the island, and then we start our freshman year," Tim re-explained to Zack, who was just focused on making sure he'd remembered everything he needed.
"Yea, really excited. Couldn't have gotten here without you bro, thanks for that," Zack admitted.
"Hey, friends help friends, besides I couldn't have made it here without you either, you helped keep my grades up," Tim laughed, as he looked out into the ocean. Suddenly Tim's eyes opened wide, and Zack turned towards the ocean to see what he was looking at. Zack saw it as well, and his jaw dropped.
"W-W-Woodland H-High!" Zack nervously shouted in happiness and in shock. Tim and Zack began jumping up and down, as they were super excited for there long High school journey. Little did they know, this was going to be the craziest 4 years of school ever.
