I drew this quite a few months ago, but figured I should hold off for a little while. Either way I have no qualms about it now so he's an older version of Lillie (at least, that was the intention anyway). I desperately want her to show up in another Pokemon game down the line as like an easter egg or an optional boss like I've drawn her here, just to see what happens to her. She's easily one of the more interesting characters in the franchise in my opinion, and it still feels like her story isn't over yet.
Edit: Anybody who's wondering what I think her team would be, the only things I'd speculate would be a) not Cosmog or any of its evolutions, its canon (sadly) that she doesn't have them and it would feel weird for them to retcon it. And b) I feel a member of the Clefairy line would fit due to its connection to the moon (which makes sense in Pokemon Moon at least), its connection to Bill whom she wanted to see, and because they can be found close by to where she was headed in Kanto. Other than that, I've got nothing.

@SkySilvally Okay good point, although I'd argue that Lillie is a bit more plot relevant than Zygarde and as such she's a little harder to push aside. But I guess we'll see what happens.
@Eevee is who I am I know, but the way its written implies that there is more to the story than what we got. You could still leave it where it is now and it would have technically ended, but honestly it would be a bit disappointing.Jan 27, 2017 -

@SkySilvally I dunno, given how Sun and Moon ended it strikes me as being fairly possible. What @Psycho Monkey described in that creative spurt he had that he shouldn't be apologizing for sounds like the kind of thing they'd pull if we ever returned to Kanto. Only thing is I don't feel we will head back soon given the Pokebank update and the release of RBY on the 3DS, but then again given all of the Gen I pandering that's been going on, well you never know.

I agree with you about Lillie's story not being over. In fact I'm hoping her story is just beginning. I would like to see a future Pokemon game (maybe Stars?) to be set in Kanto where Lillie is your character's rival in the game. Then post game she remarks that she's grown a lot on her journey but having lost to you many times throughout the game feels she still has a ways to go before she's ready to challenge the S&M PC to a battle. Then when she is ready, you're awesome pic will be what greets the S&M PC when Lillie returns to Alola!
