Me: *runs through office, hurdles over dog gate, reaches for phone, inches away*

Boss: "Hello, I'm assisting another client, can you hold?" -click- "Am I the ONLY one who works here?!!" *dirty looks*
Me: (-_-)*retrieves holding call* "Hello, thank you for holding, how can I help you?" *listens* "I'm sorry, you must be trying to reach next door, let me give their number..." *goes back to cleaning room* where the f!xk is everyone

Coworker 2: *munch, munch, munch, munch* "Shorry mr mrth wrsh full"

Why...when you hear me running...and see my hand hover over the phone...do you snatch the call at the last .5 seconds...as if I wasn't. going. to answer it.
