Duskfeather was sorting the herbs in the medicine cat's den and the apprentices were play-fighting, the kits were playing with a ball of moss and the warriors were wandering throughout the camp. Nightraven decided to wander around the camp as well, though she wanted to relax or hunt.
She decided to slip out of the camp and go hunting for a short while. She caught the scent of a mouse and got into the hunters crouch before leaping at the mouse and dispatching it with a swift blow to the neck. She burried it and kept going. She brought the prey back to camp, setting it on the fresh-kill pile and sitting alone in the shade of a tree. "Hello, Nightraven." A voice mewed.

"I had the same dream..." Duskfeather meowed. Nightraven pinned her ears back nervously. "What do you think it means..?" She asked. Duskfeather shrugged. "I'm not sure..." He mewed.

In RiverClan, Splashbreeze was sorting the herbs after a few kits decided to scatter everything throughout the den as she was out to get more herbs. She sighed as she finished sorting them. When she was done, she padded out into the clearing. She saw the kits flinging themselves onto a ball of moss. Amusement glittered in her blue eyes and she sat down.
The apprentices were either out with their mentors for training or play-fighting; The warriors were either relaxing and eating along with chatting or hunting or on a patrol; the queens were eating fresh-kill and caring for their kits or watching them play; The elders were sharing stories; the kits were pawing at balls of moss; and the leader was sitting in her den. Splashbreeze sighed and looked around the camp. Everything seemed to be going well. She looked up at the sky and her eyes turned to slits as she heard a voice. Beware of a cat in your Clan...for they'll rise....and you'll fall.. it whispered to Splashbreeze; this was the same sign Nightraven has recieved!
Splashbreeze shuddered. "What do you mean?" She asked the voice, but there came no response. She sighed and sat down, staring at the ground and shuddering. In ThunderClan, Hollybreeze was sitting outside the medicine cat's den. She stared up at the sky and sighed. She padded out of the camp and decided to collect herbs for the Clan. Suddenly, as she was trotting through the territory, she heard the same voice that Splashbreeze had heard and they said the same thing. She shuddered in confusion and ran back to camp.
When she returned to the den, she tried to calm herself down. "Great StarClan! What did they mean? Who? What? Why?!" She mewed in utter confusion. She sighed and decided to get herself a piece of fresh-kill. she ate a little bit and curled up. Maybe another sign will turn up...and the meaning will be clearer. She thought.
In WindClan, Breezesong, the medicine cat, was gathering herbs for the Clan. He was trotting back to camp with multiple herbs. He dropped them in the den, sorted them then stretched. "This should be enough for the next few seasons." He mewed. Suddenly he heard the same voice that said the same thing to Splashbreeze, Duskfeather, Nightraven, and Hollybreeze.
He shuddered as he didn't understand what this sign meant. "Great StarClan! W-what's going to happen..?" He meowed in fear. He ran out of the camp and looked around, eyes blazing with fear. Who? StarClan help me! Who is going to 'rise'..? Please tell me! He thought frantically. He shuddered and ran back to the den, breathing heavilly.

(Dreams will be in bold) She was running through the forest as though something were chasing her; and something was. Her eyes were wide in fear and she heard wailing around her as well as yowls of rage and fear and hissing. She tripped over something and when she fell, her face was right next to it.
She yowled in horror as she realized what it was; a bloody cat of which appeared to be dead by multiple injuries; many scars across the face, shoulders, back and chest, and one long scar starting at the base of it's tail and going up to it's neck. She tried to get up, but slipped on a pool of blood. She soon got up and ran off again, leaving bloody tracks. She came across a massive body of water. The lake! she thought to herself; but no, this wasn't the lake...it was a lake of blood itself.
She pinned her ears back in terror when she saw that the lake was bloodred. This isn't the normal lake... She thought. This is a lake of blood! She almost yowled her thoughts but soon she turned around only to see a pure black cat that appeared out of no where. It stared down at her, it's fur torn, scars here and there, blood dripping from it's muzzle and paws. It leapt at Nightraven, amber eyes narrowed with ambition, bloody claws unsheathed.
Just at that moment, she woke up, breathing heavily. "Was that a sign..?" Nightraven mewed aloud. She glanced outside and it was quite bright. "Someone overslept!" A voice teased. Nightraven saw Fernflight and sighed.

She tried to get up, but slipped on a pool of blood. She soon got up and ran off again, leaving bloody tracks. She came across a massive body of water. The lake! she thought to herself; but no, this wasn't the lake...it was a lake of blood itself.
She pinned her ears back in terror when she saw that the lake was bloodred. This isn't the normal lake... She thought. This is a lake of blood! She almost yowled her thoughts but soon she turned around only to see a pure black cat that appeared out of no where. It stared down at her, it's fur torn, scars here and there, blood dripping from it's muzzle and paws. It leapt at Nightraven, amber eyes narrowed with ambition, bloody claws unsheathed.
Just at that moment, she woke up, breathing heavily. "Was that a sign..?" Nightraven mewed aloud. She glanced outside and it was quite bright. "Someone overslept!" A voice teased. Nightraven saw Fernflight and sighed.
She padded out of the den and trotted towards Duskfeather, who was sitting in the clearing. Duskfeather looked at Nightraven, ears twitching slightly. "I had a dream last night..." she mewed. She then explained her dream to the ShadowClan medicine cat. Duskfeather pinned his ears back in disbelief.
"What do you think it means?" She asked. Duskfeather thought carefully. "I'll look more into the signs you've recieved." He meowed. Nightraven nodded, soon being called for a patrol. Crowstar, ShadowClan's leader, had chosen her to lead a patrol.
Nightraven picked Ashcloud, Hawktail, and Jaystorm to go with her. They ran out of the camp and towards the border between ShadowClan and RiverClan. They marked the scent and checked for any patrols, but there weren't any. They checked the other borders and marked them, nothing really happening. The warriors seperated and reported everything to Crowstar.
Nightraven soon sat down in the clearing. She looked up at the sky, wondering what the dream meant. Duskfeather trotted towards her. "The meaning is clear," He meowed. "Combining these two signs makes the meaning clear...there's an ambitious cat in each Clan...and they are willing to rule the forest, willing to kill anyone who stands in their path..." Nightraven pinned her ears back in terror.
"Are you sure thats what it means?" Nightraven wondered. Duskfeather nodded. "Who would they be..?" Nightraven asked. Duskfeather didn't reply. Nightraven thought about who it could be.
Suddenly, her gaze struck Shadowstorm. Shadowstorm had ambition blazing in his eyes. Nightraven pinned her ears back. She backed away in terror and Shadowstorm stared at her like she was crazy. She ran out of the camp in horror.
"It can't be him! No, it can't be!" Nightraven whispered. She had grown up with Shadowstorm, and they became great friends. She sat under a tree. She stared at the sky. "Why would he do this..?" Nightraven asked herself.
Breezesong, the WindClan medicine cat, stared at Ashfall. Ashfall must've been the ambitious cat! Breezesong, pinned his ears back. He left camp. "Ashfall can't betray us!" Breezesong whispered.
Hollybreeze in ThunderClan was staring at Brambleblaze. "He must be the one..." she whispered to herself. Brambleblaze was glancing at the cats around him with narrowed eyes. Hollybreeze shuddered when she thought about the camp being covered in blood. She backed away.
Splashbreeze in RiverClan was staring at Hawkflight. "He must be the ambitious one..." Splashbreeze whispered. She thought of ways to defeat him, but she was a medicine cat. She sighed and sat down, staring at the sky. "It's time..." She whispered.
