The three went inside the gym.

"Cubchoo I choose you." Katie said. "Cubchoo use Icy Wind." Krokorok was weakened.
"Krokorok use Crunch." Clay said.
"Cubchoo, quick use Ice Beam." Katie said and Krokorok was defeated and frozen.
"Guess we got to heat up this frozen dinner." Aspen said.
"Oh come on." Mal said.
"Krokorok return, Palpitoad I choose you." Clay said. "Palpitoad use Bubble Beam." Cubchoo was defeated.
"Cubchoo return, Sandile I choose you." Katie said. "Sandile use Dark Pulse." Palpitoad was weakened.
"Palpitoad use Bubblebeam." Clay said.
"Sandile use Dark Pulse." Katie said and both pokemon were defeated.
"Palpitoad return, Excadrill I choose you." Clay said.
"Sandile return, Pignite I choose you." Katie said. "Pignite use Flame Charge." Excadrill was weakened.
"Excadrill use Slash." Clay said and Pignite was weakened.
"Pignite use Fire Pledge." Katie said and Excadrill was defeated.
*Later back in the gym*
"Krokorok I choose you." Clay said.
"Dewott I choose you." Flame said. "Dewott use Razor Shell." Krokorok was weakened.
"Krokorok use Bulldoze." Clay said and Dewott was weakened along with Krokorok taking recoil damage.
"Dewott use Water Pulse." Flame said and Krokorok was defeated.
"Krokorok return, Palpitoad I choose you." Clay said. "Palpitoad use Bubblebeam." Dewott was defeated.
"Dewott return, Tranquill I choose you." Flame said. "Tranquill use Air Cutter." Palpitoad was weakened.
"Palpitoad use Bulldoze." Clay said and Tranquill was defeated and Palpitoad taking recoil.
"Tranquill return, Drilbur I choose you." Flame said. "Drilbur use Slash." Palpitoad was defeated.
"Palpitoad return, Excadrill I choose you." Clay said.
"Dril, Drilbur." Drilbur said ready for battle.
"Looks like Drilbur wants to test its strength against Excadrill." Flame said.
"Not much of a choice, thats your last pokemon." Mal said.
"True." Flame said. "Drilbur use Metal Claw." Excadrill was weakened.
"Excadrill use Slash." Clay said and Drilbur looked defeated.
"Drilbur you have to get up." FLame said.
"DRILBUR!" Drilbur said while glowing and standing up.
"Its evolving." Katie said.
"Awesome." Aspen said and it evolved.
"Excadrill use Metal Claw." Flame said and Excadrill was defeated, Clays not Flames.
*Later in Pokemon center*
"Thats cool that pokemon had evolved." Katie said.
"Lets start heading to Mistralton City, I heard its a bunch of flying pokemon." Flame said.
"Me two." Aspen said. They headed for Mistralton City.
