Trent was having a peaceful dream where he was saving the world from all types of danger, when suddenly he was awoken by a knocking.
"Five more minutes Mom..." Trent said groggily.
"It's probably important, and isn't your Mom dead or something." Brannigan said looking at some holographic files.
"How... Do... You... Know That?" Trent questioned furrowing his eyebrows towards Brannigan.
"Your pumpkin friend told me." Brannigan answered smugly.
"My 'pumpkin friend' has a name you know! And it's Lanter." Trent complained.
The knocking then stopped as the door was pushed wide open to reveal it was Lanter, who as usual was awfully excited.
"Trent, I just had the greatest idea!" Lanter exclaimed running up to Trent's bed.
"Lanter, I don't know if I should be excited for what's in store or scared..." Trent said as he was dragged off the top of the bed causing Brannigan to snicker.
Lanter brought Trent out of the room and into a secluded hallway where they could talk.
"Okay, so I had this really cool idea." Lanter said.
"You already said that... And just tell me." Trent responded.
"Look, hear me out here, but when you get out of the training academy, we could be SUPERHEROES!" Lanter explained.
"Hey not so loud! What was the point of bringing me hear if you're gonna do that?" Trent lectured.
"First, you'll need a name... how about... 'The SHAPESHIFTER'!" Lanter exclaimed but much quieter than before.
"I'm looking for Super Hero names not Rollercoasters..." Trent responded.
"What about, 'Watch Boy'!" Lanter said in a sing-songy voice.
"That sounds more like an insult than a super hero name." Trent said.
"Maybe, All-Star since you're basically the best of every alien species?" Lanter proposed.
"Hmm, sounds cool but... quick question, how many aliens are in this watch anyways?" Trent asked holding up the Ultimatrix.
"Well look and see." Lanter answered.
"Let's see... 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10. Ten Aliens." Trent said, as an idea suddenly came to mind. "Of course! Trent 10, perfect!"
"Awesome! But All-Star is still a good name though." Lanter responded.
"Now... since I've already been naming my aliens... I might as well name the rest of them."
The screen cut to a montage of Trent transforming into aliens, first a a blue lizard alien on all fours wearing a white shell on it's back, it grew spikes on his chin, it had three dorsal fins across his back, and white gills grew across his face, its eyes were connected by a black stripe who fired ice beams, and the name Absolute Zero flashed onto the screen in an icy tone.
Next a broad-shouldered alien with natural yellow plating on his back, shoulders and arms. It was mostly white with black covering where his armor was, he curled into a ball and rolled around, and the name Speedball rolled on screen with him.
Then he transformed into a muscular sasquatch-like alien, with a thick white, gray and blue fur along with a reddish-pink face, he also had many circular metallic bolts on his body. He charged a bolt of electricity and fired a blast of it, and the name Zap Foot lit up on screen.
Trent also transformed into a large brick based gorrila-like alien with red, blue and yellow bricks covering his body with black stripes separating the colors, he then demonstrated the ability to make anything out of his body from tools to walls, and the name Brickhouse appeared in his own materials.
"Don't need to go over Sightracked." Trent said shrugging and transformed into the next alien which was a large insect alien with four legs with two green arms, he had four eye stalks linking directly to his black head he had wings from his back he then continuously fired goo from his eye stalks which coated the screen eventually spelling Bug Bite.
Next he transformed into a a small green bipedal frog like alien that was mostly dark green, with camouflage like patches of black, but with the only lighter parts being his claw like fingers, and his face. His stomach contained not only the Ultimatrix symbol on top of it and a translucent stomach full of acid bubbles who then ate one of Lanter's pumpkins and launched it as a lasers at the screen spelling Glutton.
Trent then transformed into a a blue velociraptor alien with black wheels on its feet and a cone helmet. who dashed around and jumped over the name Top Speed. Trent then turned into a huge bulky yellow armored alien with ears similar to an armadillo. He had a grey tail, and jackhammer parts on his elbows, wrists and hands. He punched the ground vibrating his hands to create an earthquake which spelled the word Tremor.
And lastly he transformed into a small fairy like creature with light blue skin and dark blue hair and pink freckles dotting his face. Trent then flew around leaving green dust behind him spelling out the word Dreamscape.
"Now, after that, you're gonna need some sort of theme song. I was thinking something like "Trent 10! Trent 10! Does whatever the alien he transforms into does... I got nothing." Lanter said flatly.
Trent had a sudden idea, "You think they have any instruments here?" He asked.
"Oh hey a guitar." Lantern said pointing to an electric guitar on the side of the room.
"How convenient..." Trent said picking it up, "Well, here goes nothing." Trent said as he began to play the instrument.
The screen cut to the chase between Trent and the alien at the festival and him finding the Ultimatrix.
Once the lyrics started the screen cut to Trent running across a field of flowers as Top Speed.
At the lyrics "Not looking back" the screen cut to the alien bird dropping Trent's parents.
From "Not giving up" to "I'll keep on running." showed Trent as Sightracked fighting off the shape shifting monster.
At the chorus, the screen made a transition to Absolute Zero making it look as if Trent had changed aliens, Absolute Zero then pressed on the Ultimatrix symbol again transforming into a much larger and bulkier growing green armor, three growths dangling from his chin and his bottom teeth bared. He grew black lines near his eyes that ended at his mouth and separated forming a "mustache" of sorts going down past his mouth and curling at the bottom, ice grew on his back and shoulders with two green cannons coming out of his back near his shoulders and the Ultimatrix gained four pronged spikes out of it. He then turned around faced the screen and froze it solid with one of his cannons.
Then a panoramic shot of Trent and all of his aliens with Trent in the middle as he put his Ultimatrix up about to transform as the theme song ends.
"Okay... that was... majorly... trippy." Trent said confused.
"Tell me about it." Lanter answered, "And, you're good on backstory." Lanter said walking out of the hallway.
"What does he mean by 'I'm good on backstory'?" Trent wondered.
