Top 5 Final Bosses in Video Games

Gamers can be picky sometimes. But the thing that they're ESPECIALLY picky about is Final Bosses. Some of them good (Undertale), some, not so good (Rayman Legends). I'm DopeLeafeon, and this is My Top 5 Final Bosses in video games.

There are some things you don't know about me. And that's I don't JUST like Pokemon. But when I say "You are awesome" I mean that.
#5: YOU, Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon
Announced around the end of 2015, Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon is the most hyped game of the year. And I've asked a lot of people, and they were like "What's Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam?" and the way for hype is by trailer. There's been one song that they've showcased multiple times, and that's the champion. And what happens? The biggest plot twist is Game Freak history, the champion of Alola is you. At first, Alola didn't even have a Pokemon League, until you came along. You became the first ever champ, and then Kukui comes up and tries to battle you. His theme plays, but in reality, it's YOUR theme. The same music plays when you fight Hau, Gladion, Ryuki, and a lot more people. Do you know what this means? This isn't you battling Kukui, this is Kukui battling YOU. Very few games, if any at all, have had you as the final boss of every game, and that's why it places at number five on this list.

Everyone else does it. Why not me?
#4: Magolor, Kirby's Return to Dreamland
Now, I'm not the biggest Kirby fan; But I know a good final boss when I see one. The battle starts off with what you can call the zero phase. The zero phase involves you trying to take down Landia, not Magolor, which is why I call it the zero phase. You eventually defeat the Landia dragon, and, another big plot twist in the Kirby games, the person you've been working for this WHOLE game is the person who is now manipulating you to do his bidding. He turns into a god, traveling into very creatively named Another Dimension. The weakened Landia dragon fourths agree to help Kirby, Meta Knight, King Dedede, and Bandana Dee chase after Magolor in Another Dimension. Think about this: You are teaming up with the supposed final boss in this game to take down the REAL final boss. The first phase is taking down ALL of the parts you collected throughout the game. Yes, you go through ALL the worlds, to collect ALL the pieces to Magolor's ship. And now you're destroying them. Some people think this was just a copy made by Magolor, but I don't agree with that, because if it was a clone, then Kirby would feel less bad about destroying it. Once you do that, the real fight begins. You fight Magolor mono-a-mono, until you realize he has that five-star impenetrable shield that can only be broken with super abilities. Do that, and you win the phase. But YET again, he has ANOTHER phase. This one is named Magolor Soul. Yes, SOUL. You know, that boss where you are FIGHTING A CORPSE?! I prime example of this is in Kirby Super Star and Kirby Super Star Ultra, with Marx Soul. Magolor Soul may not look terrifying now, but once he gets to EX, the truth is revealed.
It turns out, under that robe, he is a part of Dark Matter. Yes, the main antagonist of the Kirby series, right behind King Dedede. You can tell because his mouth is replaced by an eye, the most crucial part of a Dark Matter. That, and his portal attack is shaped like Dark Nebula from Kirby Squeak Squad, who is ALSO a part of Dark Matter. Now THAT'S Kirby.

So let's talk about Super Mario 3D World.
A fine game, indeed, even featuring Rosalina, who is literally just appearing in every game now. No joke, she's in Mario Party 10. Every character has their own ability. Mario is all-around, Luigi can jump higher, Peach can float, Blue Toad can run fast, and Rosalina can use the Spin Attack mechanic from the game she debuted in. The character setup of Super Mario Bros. 2, the 3Dness of Super Mario 64. It's great! But what is extra great is its final boss.
#3: Meowser, Super Mario 3D World
What, did you seriously think that I wasn't gonna include a Mario game on this list?
After completing World Castle, you'd THINK that it was over, right? Left. A Mario game isn't a Mario game without a Phase 2 of any kind. In this case, you have to play through A WHOLE NEW WOOOOOOOOORLD! Except it's not as good as Aladdin's. The levels are extremely hard, and the final boss is no different. In it, you can see Bowser's crashed hot rod. Now think about this: That car you destroyed all the way back in World 1? Gone. Hope he has Geico. Can save you %15--
Anyway, you head down the circus lift, but before you do that, Captain Toad is here to back you up. He doesn't have anything. He's just...there. Ok! Onto the REAL final boss. Bowser looks way too adorable as Meowser. So you climb up his tower, with blocks and cloud platforms to mess you up. Once you get to the top, Bowser's under a bunch of POW blocks. You hit them, and that's phase one. You use a clear pipe to get higher up the mountain, then tell Bowser he's fat. So he starts his diet with cherries. Double Cherries, to be exact. Yes, there is now MULTIPLE MEOWSERS! You climb further up the tower, with more and more Meowsers getting in your way, and once you reach the REAL tippy-top, you hit the giant POW block four times, while also having all the Meowsers shooting blue fireballs at you! After you do that, you win the fight, and sent straight to the flagpole, with a stamp as a fun little bonus. Now THAT'S what you call a Final Boss.

Now...there are a lot of dark Mario games. There are some who debate on Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time Vs. Super Paper Mario. My opinion? ...Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time.
#2: Elder Princess Shroob, Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time
Every single thing you have gone through on your journey has been building up to THIS moment. All the Mario enemies have been destroyed, you killed Princess Shroob and Bowser and Baby Bowser, all because the Cobalt Star, the thing that you have been told to collect pieces of this WHOLE game, is MANIPULATING you. This is not Magolor. This is pure evil and destruction. It's almost like you're a Shroob yourself. And for those of you who haven't played, let me explain. You collect four pieces of the Cobalt Star, Baby Bowser gets the fifth one, puts it in, and unleashes a monster. That Princess Shroob you've been fighting this whole time? NOTHING compared to this monstrosity! Elder Princess Shroob's first phase depends on how many Shroob UFOs are present. She can even do Wario's shoulder charge. Speaking of which, where were the rest of the Mario cast doing this whole time? Shroobs I guess? I dunno. Then, there's the second phase. You defeat her, but she uses her crown to revive herself.
And OH. MY. GOD, is it SCARY! There are five parts of her body to attack. FIVE! The tentacles, the left arm, the right arm, the crown, and the head. Take out the crown if you want any chance of winning. And the truth is, everyone has been turned into Shroobs. The Toads have died, and everyone else is purple mushrooms. The fate of the planet rests upon Mario, Baby Mario, Luigi, and Baby Luigi. If you lose this fight, Peach, both Bowsers, the present, Mario, Luigi, and this whole planet, DIES. You know all those games that came after this? None of them would EXIST if you lose. That's just DARK!

Before we get to Number One, here are some very honorable mentions:
Dr. Eggman, Sonic Lost World
Calamity Ganon, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
Asriel Dreemurr/Genocide Sans, Undertale
Hades, Kid Icarus: Uprising

Okay, number one. I should probably leave it off here and wait for the buildup, or maybe not. The fans that I don't have would probably ask me: Who is number one? And I would answer with...
That's a bit of a taboo question.
#1: Tabuu, Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Believe me when I say this is the best boss battle in the history of video games, that I have played at least. I could've put an Undertale boss on this list, I could've put any honorable mention to replace this, but no. No one can out-awesome the Final Boss of Nintendo itself. So this is what the fans have pieced together:
Tabuu is Master Hand's puberty, growing stronger and stronger every time he grows older. Master Hand is being used as a puppet by Tabuu, which is why he chose Wario, Bowser, Ganondorf, and King Dedede to help him out with this task. King Dedede rebels, but the rest follow his orders. Tabuu's motivation for this is so that he can eliminate all imagination from Master Hand's toys, turning them back into the soulless plastic they are. Like Amiibo hunting in a nutshell. At the end of the game, Tabuu turns everyone into trophies. EVERYONE. This depends on who you save from trophies. If you didn't save Ike from that limbo, he's stuck there forever. You can't play as him if you don't save him from that trophy. Finally, you reach the end of subspace, and SEGA saved all of your lazy butts. Sonic joins your party, and so the fight begins. First of all, THE MUSIC. It's acting like you have been granted with a new power to take down the ultimate evil. The next thing, THE FIGHT. You have SIX characters to choose from. SIX! You know this is insane when they let you have two extra slots. It's hard as frick, too! When I played it, it took an entire COMMUNITY of smash players just to beat it. The last thing is the moment. You're playing as your favorite video game character, and you and your main are taking down Tabuu. Everyone has their own character to play as, and you can be a part of them. It's so satisfying once you beat it. Therefore, this is the BEST Final Boss the Wii has ever seen.
