Just Theories: The Timeline of the Mirror World (Kirby Theory)

So right now I'm going through a phase of Kirby.
That lasted longer than I thought...
But still.
One of the more interesting things I found about Kirby was the Mirror World.
You see, HAL cares a lot about continuity in Kirby.
And that's only one reason why people love these games so much.
Or there could be better reasons.
And I've recently come across an image showcasing the timeline of Bandana Dee.
First, he joins Kirby on his quest in Kirby 64, gets a promotion in Super Star Ultra, and then helps out Kirby once again in Return to Dreamland.
And that inspired me to make this.
So without further ado, let's get started.
Here's the entire timeline of the Amazing Mirror.

The Mirror first appeared in Kirby & The Amazing Mirror, where it states that it lies above the high skies of Dreamland.
So, as you can imagine, Meta Knight goes to investigate but instead gives birth to Dark Meta Knight, his mirror-world equivalent.
Now keep Dark Meta Knight in mind, because he's really relevant to the mirror's plot.
He slices Kirby into four, and takes his leave.
You never see him again until the second-to-final boss of the game, where Meta Knight 'IMPOSTER!'s him, and reveals himself to be Dark Meta Knight.
The Kirbys hop into the Mirror World portal and confront the game's main antagonist, Dark Mind.
Speaking of which, let's talk about Dark Mind for a sec.
I am probably the only one to think this, but I say Dark Mind is the mirror-world equivalent to Zero.
They're both the final bosses of their respective games and they both look like a ball with an eye, but that's about all I have to say when it comes to this theory.
No, they don't have similar attacks, and I would say that doesn't matter if Dark Meta Knight didn't have the same attacks as Meta Knight.
So that theory is highly unlikely, but it's definitely possible that HAL could support it in the future.
Back to the topic at hand, Kirby defeats Dark Mind and the credits roll...in mid-battle.
Yeah, I never got why they did that...
Anyway, the next appearance of that mirror was in Kirby Triple Deluxe.
Ya see, this dude Taranza and his girlfriend best friend Sectonia wanted eternal beauty, so Taranza got the mirror in hopes to help her.
But of course, everything backfires and creates Queen Sectonia DX. No it doesn't.
Of course, there is no explanation on how Queen Sectonia EX was born either, but Queen Sectonia DX was in the Dededetour sub-game on Triple Deluxe so let's just assumed that Queen Sectonia got a buff from the Amazing Mirror and became Queen Sectonia DX.
After that, Dedede fights with his mirror-world equivalent, Shadow Dedede.
And can I just say that the Mirror World names are weird?
But I think I've got the naming system right for the Mirror World.
But we'll get to that in a sec.
After beating Shadow Dedede, real Dedede hops into the portal and fights Dark Meta Knight.
After reigning victorious, Dedede smashes the mirror to end all conflcit that rose because of it.
Now we move onto the next and final appearance of the Mirror World, Team Kirby Clash Deluxe.
In that, Taranza (the supposed main antagonist of the game yet again) has contacted the mirror and gave birth to Dark Taranza.
Of course, a few bosses before that include Parallel Susie and Parallel Landia.
Now this is where the Name Game comes in.
Shadow Kirby and Shadow Dedede are the only Kirby characters to don the 'Shadow' prefix, so from this, i can conclude 'Shadow' means normally a hero in the real world.
And I don't even need to explain why Dedede's not a villain.
Dark Meta Knight and Dark Taranza both have the'Dark' prefix. This was a toughie, because before I thought it was just villains. But Meta Knight's not a villain.
But I can say that, because Meta Knight has been a villain more often than Dedede.
And no, the anime doesn't count.
And of course, Parallel Susie and Parallel Landia both have the 'Parallel' prefix.
This could imply that nothing has changed about them. They're just the same person...or alien/dragon...
Unlike Dark Taranza, nothing about Parallel Susie and Parallel Landia say "Ooh, they got MUCH more evil."
So, if something is alike, you call it parallel. Simple as that.
So here's the full timeline.
Dark Meta Knight gains Dark Mind's power, but is shortly defeated by Kirby in Kirby & The Amazing Mirror.
Then, Taranza obtains to mirror to give Sectonia but backfires and Dark Taranza attacks, along with Parallel Susie and Parallel Landia in Team Kirby Clash Deluxe.
And finally, the mirror reaches Queen Sectonia but again, backfires, and makes her evil instead. Dedede confronts his mirror self as well as Dark Meta Knight and smashes the mirror in Kirby Triple Deluxe.
And that, my friends...is the entire history of the Mirror Portal.
...man, Taranza truly had a tragic life.
This is being the Dopest of Leafeon, and I hope you all have a fabulous day!
