So in the end I just had to pick Oshawott. It was such a tough choice and don't hate me that I didn't choose Tepig or Snivy. Oshawott just won me over instantly. Anyway, Bianca decided on Tepig and Cheren, Snivy. After picking, Cheren insisted that we all had a pokemon battle and even though Bianca wasn't too keen on the idea, she still had lots of fun battling. I won both battles although that's partly because I have a tiny bit of experience when It comes to pokemon battles
Later on, Professor Juniper explained about something called a pokedex. I had heard of this back in the Sinnoh region from professor Rowan but I didn't actually know what it was. Luckily, professor Juniper answered my question. I was astounded at what it was. It turns out that it is a high-tech digital encyclopaedia that records the data of any pokemon you happen to come across. I needed one of these and once again Juniper seemed to read my mind and without hanging back, she handed one over and told me that on my journey that I would have to try and collect the data of as many pokemon as I could. It was almost like a challenge. Bianca and Cheren were also fired up about it so it seemed we were all quite competitive
Moments later we were at the edge of Nuvema town. The sweet scent of flowers from route 1 drifted in the air. It was time, it was our first step into the outside world. Extremely excited, Bianca, Cheren and I all walked into route 1. What will to come?!
