A young man who stood five foot eleven, with silver hair and blue eyes, most notably wearing a grey cloak, that is green on the inside was walking out of Sandgem town, on his belt were six Pokeballs, two ultra balls, a great Ball, a pokeball, a blue pokeball with a red star on its center, and a green Pokeball with two yellow ring stripes on the sides like a baseball. He was holding hands with a girl about five foot four, platinum blonde hair, green eyes, wearing a blue dress, it had no sleeves, but she wore the boy's coat, and traveling shoes. A young girl with platinum blonde hair and grey eyes was traveling with the pair, She wore a yellow longsleeve shirt, with some stars on the sleeves, and grey pants with blue stripes on the sides.
"Sweetheart, what is that?" The green eyed girl asked, worried about something.
The boy spotted a very large Pokemon, it was grey, with black and red stripes down the front, a gold face mask, red eyes, a snake like body with six thin wings.
"Ari, get ready," The boy responded, "Kiara, stay back."
Kiara nodded, as the boy grabbed the green Pokeball from his belt. He was about to release the Pokemon inside when the other Pokemon flew off in a different direction.
It was then that a black haired girl appeared, along with a silver haired boy with purple eyes.
"Kay?" Ariana and the boy asked.
"Kay, who is this?" The purple eyed boy asked.
"My brother Firey, and his girlfriend, Ariana," Kay explained to him, "Sorry about Sterling, he can be a bit sarcastic at times."
"Sterling, is that correct?" Firey asked.
"Yes." Sterling responded.
"I challenge you to a Pokemon battle!" Firey exclaimed.
Firey and Sterling took opposite sides of a clearing in the forest.
"This battle will be a one on one, the battle ends when either Pokemon is unable to continue, trainers, choose your Pokemon!" Ariana announced, like a referee.
"Gallade, Show them your abilities!" Sterling yelled.
"Gyarados, You're up!" Firey yelled.
"Battle begin!" Ariana announced.
"Gyarados, open up with Bounce!" Firey ordered.
The Atrocious Pokemon bounced high into the air, and started falling towards Gallade.
"Use Close Combat!"
The Blade Pokemon started punching and kicking, in an attempt to knock the Gyarados back. Gyarados bounced off the attacks and landed perfectly on Firey's side of the field.
"Be ready." Firey warned his Pokemon.
Gyarados nodded.
"Psycho Cut!" Sterling ordered.
"Show them a Dragon Rage!" Firey ordered.
A pink crescent met a blue ball in the middle and exploded.
"Dragon Tail!" Firey ordered.
"Shadow Ball!" Sterling ordered.
Gallade fired quite a few of the black balls at the Gyarados when...
"Bat them back!" Firey ordered.
Gyarados swung its tail, slamming into three of the shadow ballls, sending them back towards Gallade, they met the other ones and exploded in the middle of the battlefield.
"Gallade, Thunderpunch!"
Gallade's blades started sparking, as it ran towards Gyarados.
"This is bad." Firey whispered, "That's it, Twister!"
Gyarados's tail spun around as a tornado appeared, it went towards Gallade, which caused it to flinch, and the Twister threw Gallade back to his trainer's side of the field.
"Now, Rock Tomb!" Sterling ordered.
The rocks came down so fast, Firey couldn't even call a command to attempt to even block it. Gyarados roared in pain as it was hit by the super effective attack.
"Outrage." Firey ordered, with a deadly calm expression on his face.
"Gallade, block it with Protect!" Sterling responded.
Internally, Sterling was smug, but the protect broke.
"Try it again!" Sterling ordered Gallade.
Gyarados was still raging, but this time protect didn't work, and Gyarados pummeled the Psychic and Fighting Type.
"Close Combat!" Sterling ordered.
Gallade fought the Gyarados with equal force, and both Pokemon returned to their respective sides of the field. Both Pokemon were breathing heavily after that attack. Both were thinking that this was the final move.
"Gallade, Thunderbolt to finish this off!" Sterling ordered.
"Gyarados, Hyper Beam!" Firey shouted.
An orange beam of energy hit Gallade as a thunderbolt hit Gyarados, creating a ton of smoke. When the smoke cleared out, both Pokemon were totally knocked out.
"Neither Pokemon is able to continue, this match is a tie!" Ariana announced.
"Gyarados, return, you did great!" Firey whispered as he returned his Gyarados.
"Gallade, take a long rest!" Sterling whispered as Gallade was returned.
"I'm impressed, not many can tie my Gyarados," Firey told Sterling.
Sterling responded, "Gallade is a key member of my team, we'll see you soon."
Sterling, who wore a black hooded cloak, walked down the path towards route 219 as Firey, Ariana and Kiara walked towards route 202, Kay followed Sterling towards route 219.
"I had a strange feeling about Sterling, like he was a fellow Legendary trainer." Firey told his group.
Ariana kissed his cheek right after he wrapped up saying that. The sun then began to set, as Firey decided to set up camp where they are standing. Firey set up the tent as Kiara prepared food.
"Kiara, is everything okay on your end?" Firey asked.
"I'm fine, but shouldn't you be checking on your girlfriend?" Kiara asked.
"Ari, is everything okay on your end?" Firey asked.
"I'm fine." Ariana responded.
The group sat down and ate after the food was done, then the girls went in the tent as Firey set up a hammock for himself, not far from the tent, Sharp had wandered out of her pokeball and slept not far away.
