The Region of Miato

by StellarWind Elsydeon

StellarWind Elsydeon The Miato region is a region of the Pokémon world and (quite obviously) the setting of Project Miato - somewhat of a pet project of mine that has been rolling around since the days Generation 2 was new.

And this is a map of it.

You can find more information about the region in the project wiki - it is currently very incomplete, but still being worked on. Slowly, but being worked on!

Funny you should say that. Seasons were a mechanism that I wanted to include in Miato right from the beginning. B/W beat me to it. XP

I drew the original map layout with paper and pencil, scanned it in and proceeded to color it and apply the town labels and other things to it in Photoshop. Quite a bit of layers and quite a bit of work time, but the result, I believe, is quite worth it. ^^

Miato is always there, in some way, shape or form. It may not get very actively updated these days because various art blocks and assorted shenanigans, but damnit, it's still one of my favorite worldbuilding projects and will forever be so. ^_^
