The One That Got Away (A Pokemon Memory Story)

I remember a childhood memory when I was playing Pokemon which makes me laugh to this day. One time when I was young, I was playing Pokemon Sapphire around 3 o'clock in the morning so I was bored out of my mind when I decided to play in the Safari Zone. It was five minutes into the grass I found a shiny Oddish. As a kid I was excited and happy but catching it was my objective and to focus. it lasted 10 seconds with one Safari Ball and it was a fail with two shakes then it ran away right then and there I screamed into my pillow NOOOOOO!!! at the top of my lungs luckily no one awoke. It was really hard for me to deal with it so I thought about how anyone would of felt if a shiny ran away and felt strangely happy. So now when I play Pokemon Emerald years later and find an Oddish, I laugh at that story as it change me differently.
