Chapter 10: Eevee Daycare
As they were heading along Route 4, Flame and Mal decided to head off to Paniola Town to find the daycare, and pick up the egg. "We have to go through Paniola town, pass through the Miltank and Tauros farm and then we'll be there." Mal said. Flame gasped. "It'll be a while then. We'll make sure to wait at Paniola town for you guys later." They set off, and Isaac and Lillie ran off into some tall grass to find a Pokemon. Hau ran back to the group with Sun. "Guys! I just saw two Eevee! Anybody want one?" Rose put her hand up. "I'll catch one." Sun spoke to Moon. "Sis, wanna catch some Pokemon with me? I know a pond where some rare Pokemon go." Moon jumped with glee. "Yay!" Sun and Moon left too, leaving Ama, Hau and Rose. Hau ran off to a patch of grass, and called them over. "Guys! They're gone." Ama pulled out a pokeball. "Don't worry, I have a Pokemon to track them. Go, Growlithe!" Out came an orange and black striped Pokemon. He started to sniff them out, following a scent trail. They saw the two Team Skull grunts from Melemele, attempting to catch the two Eevee.
Meanwhile, Sun and Moon were in a grove surrounded by trees, with a small but beautiful pond in the middle. Sun saw a monkey Pokemon in the trees, bouncing some sort of coconut as a ball. He threw a pokeball at it, catching it. "Alright a Passimian. What'd you find sis?" Moon walked in holding a baby Pokemon up to her chest. "I caught this Munchlax! He's so adorable!" Sun grinned. It was nice to be around her again.
"What'd you mean it already hatched?" Flame questioned. "Yes, it did. Your Eevee is already walking around." Mal spoke. "Then could we have him back please?" "Sure!" The daycare lady spoke. It was very happy around Flame and Mal, always joyful, but it was too young to battle properly. They started heading back to Paniola town through the ranch. In the grove, Passimian and Munchlax were battling. "Passimian, use Focus Energy!" Passimian pumped himself up, ready to attack. "Munchlax, use Lick!" Munchlax extended it's tongue, with barely any effort, making Passimian embarrassed. "Okay, you're all pumped up, use Rock Smash!" Passimian punched Munchlax through a nearby rock, dealing huge damage and getting a crit due to Focus Energy. "Munchlax, use Metronome!" Suddenly, Munchlax used Brave Bird, flying up and taking down Passimian in one shot. "Yes! I win again!" Moon rejoiced, hugging Munchlax tightly. Sun laughed. "Lucky break." They both giggled at the sight of a flying Munchlax. Meanwhile, the Team Skull Grunts were still harassing the poor Eevees. Ama had sent Ralts to stop their Zubat, who was attempting to poison the Eevees. A Confusion attack put it down in one shot, and they still hadn't broken cover. However, Ralts started to evolve, the white glow startling the grunts and Drowzee. "Yo! That's an evolution! And Zubat's down! Stop those trainers dawg!" Kirlia burst out. "Use Magical Leaf!" Ama shouted. But Kirlia had no time to act. "Drowzee, show that fool not to mess with us! Use Hypnosis!" Suddenly, a black Pokemon burst into the scene, knocking out Drowzee with Feint Attack. The grunts fled in fear. Out of the grass came Mal and Flame. "Ah, that's my Umbreon. It must have sensed the poor Eevee's, and came to help them." Hau smiled. "Phew! Now, let's catch these Eevee's and get to Paniola town!"
The group were resting at the daycare. Isaac and Lillie returned. No-one knows what happened to them the entire day, but it seemed as if Isaac had caught a Salandit. Isaac spoke. "So, it's time for our second trial! To Brooklet Hill!" The group traversed all of Brooklet Hill, following the orders of the Trial Captain Lana, until it was time to face the totem Pokemon. Isaac boarded a Lapras with Lillie to sail to the centre of the Totem's den. He was going to be the first to challenge the Totem. As they reached the centre, him and Lillie looked down to see a shadow forming in the water beneath their Lapras. First it was one small fish, but more and more flocked to join it, until the water rocked as they stared in awe, a huge shadowy fish monster came flying out of the water. A huge monster made of multiple small fish. It's jaw dropped open, making a loud cry. Totem Wishiwashi was here.
