The Chronicles of Khario: Introduction.

by Justalonelyaxew

Justalonelyaxew This is a new series that I've been thinking for a long time. But first of all, I need to describe the lands where these stories are going to take place.
Well, first of all, I'm gonna introduce myself. I'm Justalonelyaxew. I'm normally only posting in the Role Play Section, but lastly, I've been thinking about some stories and... It could be kinda messy to do it in the Role Play section, so I've decided to start writing them here. I want to talk here about the general view of this series, the ideas I have for the actual series and describe briefly the lands where they are going to take place. First of all, the main idea of this series is a Pokemon-Fire Emblem Crossover.
Also, I have to say that English is not my native language and despite I've certain programs that help me with grammar and vocabulary errors, don't expect them to be masterpieces, because I can't promise it. I'll try to be as constant as I can (I'm not going to be regular uploading new content due to my regular schedule, but I'll try to keep the work as long as I have support and time, trying to upload a new part at least, each two weeks). So, if you are expecting my work to be very descriptive, focusing on action battles and all of that, sorry, but I'm not the person you are looking for.

Introduction
Welcome to the continent of Khario. Since its very beginning, Khario has been a place full of violence and blood. Even when there were still no reigns, the wild Pokemon used to fight, using their classical movements, for getting the resources they want. But they soon had to group, creating the first reigns of the continent. It soon became a matter of technique, tactics... They invented the first weapons, and everything got resumed in wars: for resources, dominance, wealth, even pleasure... In the present, a short period of relative peace can be found, though there are always Pokemon that enjoys attacking and conspiring. Armies are always prepared in case of war, and the soldiers are always training, practising their moves and weapon skills.

It seems that Legendaries Pokemon (or at least, most of them) have completely abandoned the inhabitants of Khario. Faith was disappeared, only vices and sins are left. Only a few ones that still pray to them with sincerity can achieve their power. Once, each territory showed devotion to one deity, but all of them forgot about them each time a war stroke. It was a matter of time until they all forgot about them.

Despite the relative peace, the tension between the different reigns is very noticeable. At any moment, a new war can start.

My actual ideas
  • The Rage of the Forgotten: Shad is a Grovyle that was trained by Ective. Though he initially decided to take revenge for his father's death, he will finally end involved in the disappearance of the Dragon Prince, Morrah, and will have to fight to survive.
  • The Visitors: A few years later after events of "The Rage of the Forgotten", a strange event occurs during The Spatial Night. At the same time, a new organisation rises, bringing chaos around all the reigns, trying to stop a certain Pokemon.
  • Beyond the sea: after many infructuous travels through the sea, a new land has been discovered, and with it, a completely new reign. The local inhabitants fear about the newcomers, due to old legends that talk about "the end of the world."
Though I am only talking about the main plot of each story, I have a lot of other ideas, but I also want to have some interaction with the readers, so... I am thinking to leave you from time to time some options to contribute to the story too.

The Khario Continent
The whole continent is divided into reigns, some bigger, other, smaller. Each of them has a ruler, and most of them are centred in a type of Pokemon, though not all the Pokemon of the reigns are obligatory of that type:
  • Maug Region : A small mountainous peninsula that is constantly threatened by cold winds of the Cryo Reign. it is populated mostly by Dragon type Pokemons. The actual leader of the Reign is Drake, the Garchomp. Small and few villages can be found, but are relatively important:
  • The Pyr Village is a small port town in the southern part of the Peninsula, being the only one that has a direct access to the sea. It is mostly an important centre for the Draconic Commerce.
  • The Nader Town is a Town that is in the mountainside of the tallest mountain of the Peninsula. It is considered as "sacred" and only Dragon Pokemon, with few exceptions, can go in and even enter the Tric Castle, House of the Draconic Royalty.
  • The Ruins of the Ancients is an old temple where some rituals take place. Some dragons live there in order to protect them.
According to the tribes:
    • The Umbra Tribe is an amoral tribe that has been loyal to the Dragons since his fall. Any Pokemon can join as long as they show loyalty to the Dragons and his amorality. They represent the determination and their ideals.
  • Cryo Reign: A huge region that it is completely covered by perpetual ice. There is a lot of lakes, most of the time frozen. Huge mountains rise in the centre of the region, known as the Fimbulvntr Range. The leader of the Region is Iceb, the Alolan Ninetales. It is populated mostly by Ice Type Pokemons. The most important cities are:
  • Perma City is a village that regulates the commerce and immigration from the Maug Reign to Cryo Reign.
  • Frost Village is the nearest Village to the Ephone Reign. It is a mostly a military town, that is used for the Ephore Reign and the Cryo Reign to train their troops.
  • The Cirque of Articuno is the capital of the reign, and it is called this way because it is once believed to be the house of the legendary Pokemon. It is situated on the tallest mountain of the Fimbulvntr mountain range, at the top of "Trous Mountain". There, the Cryo Region Royalty lives in a luxurious palace.
According to the tribes:
    • The Gla Tribe is a Tribe that tries to find peace and calm surrounded by the ice. They accept all type of Pokemon.
    • The Cold Stalactite is a gang of violent Pokemon that wanders and waits in different routes through the Cryo Reign and assault innocent Pokemon.
  • Seidon Reign: The Seidon Region is a very small territory in the south area of the Cryo Region. The land Region almost occupies a small portion of the coast, right under a huge cliff of ice with a lot of waterfalls. But the most important part of his reign is the sea. It is mostly populated by Water Pokemons. Seidon Reign is mostly a commercial reign, that always demands a small fee for the transport of manufacturers. It is mostly neutral and includes a lot of islands. The leader of the Reign is Sidon, the Empoleon. There are two important cities:
  • The Noatun City is a very luxurious city with a lot of canals, on the coast of the Cryo Region. It is the capital of the Reign. His incredible palace is right under the cliff of ice, with a lot of waterfalls that fall right down and that harmonise completely with the surroundings.
  • The Eptune Village is a small town that is located on an island in the middle of the sea. It is an important town for the Navy of the Seidon Reigns because he commands all the deliveries of the reign.
Talking about the tribes:
    • The Wailord Skull Pirates are a gang of Pokemon, rebels from the Seidon Reign Navy that are used to board boats and get all its treasures and manufactures.
  • Ades Reign: The Ades Reign is very small, and it is located in the "Ades Archipelago", a bunch of volcanic animals that, due to its high temperatures, is mostly populated with Fire Pokemon. Its weapons are quite famous for being of a great quality. The leader of the Reign is Oal, The Volcarona. The main cities are:
  • Enix Village is probably the coldest town of all the islands. It is a commercial city that is at the coast. Visitants of the city enjoy of excellent beaches and diary regional dances.
  • Cauldron Town is a Town located in the middle of an inactive Volcano. It is in the middle of a lake, inside the crater of it. They are famous for the weapons they create, thanks to the local blacksmiths. The Palace is right beneath them, inside the volcano.
There is only a local tribe, The Hephaestus' League, a bunch of traditional blacksmiths that are in charge of creating the weapons for the Royal Family. They are not allowed to give his weapons to tourists unless they have Oal's favor.
  • Ephone Reign: The Ephore Reign is a huge reign allied with the Cryo Reign since immemorial times. It is located to the west of the Cryo Reign. It conglomerates Psychic and Fairy Pokemon. The lands are mostly plain, with some lakes and rivers and, all of them surrounded by a mysterious and mystic aura. The leader of the Reign is a Gardevoir known as Avi. The main cities are:
  • Crystal City is a huge city in the middle of a bigger meadow. A river crosses the entire city. Being a city for fancy Pokemons, you can find a lot of theatres and libraries, operas, cafés... It is a popular city for the Royalty of all the Reigns.
  • Niric Town is the capital of the Ephone Reign. It is located in a valley, though a small part of the Town and the Palace is located directly under a mountain. The Fay Palace is the only hanging Palace, mostly constructed in the crystals that hang from the cave. The City is very secure and has a great army.
  • Stral Village is a small town that is located at the top of a small mountain. Is quite popular for the Pokemon that wants to study the sky, because, during the night, you can enjoy the view of the starred night. There is a big observatory too.
  • Orion is another important town. Near the Casiopea Lake and at the base of the Peaks of the Sky, it is the only place that provides a safe path that leads to Stral Village.
Respecting to the local tribes:
    • The Lumen Tribe is a Tribe that totally seeks truth itself. They are quite peaceful, though they tend to offer help to the Fairy Kingdom as councilors. Despite being "neutral" they have great warriors true. They'll offer help to anybody whose actions are pure and uninterested.
    • The Eclipse Alliance is a nomadic tribe that wanders through reigns with members of the Umbra and Lumen Tribes. Bored of his life training or trying to seek the truth itself, they wander around regions helping Pokemon that needs help.
    • The Solar Command is an extremist part of the Lumen Tribe. They reject finding the truth because of the existence of multiple truths, and not a unique one. They are quite aggressive, only worrying about themselves.
  • Asper Reign: The Southwest Part of the Asper Reign is completely dark and lugubrious. Most of the territory (known as the Deathlands) is surrounded by a dark aura; even some of them are completely filled with a poison gas. Poison, dark and ghost Pokemon live in that territory. Some of the lakes are completely polluted, and Pokemons that are not used to those conditions can easily die under those conditions. It is one of the Two Reigns that does not have a Royal Family, being more like a... Dictator, known as Ective, the Zoroark. The Principal Cities are:
  • Caspe Village: a small village that it's looking mostly abandoned, but that is quite active thanks to the Ghost Pokemons that live there. There is a big library where a lot of information about the story of the Known World can be found.
  • The Ghast Ports are a town near the coast, but most ships never dock because the lighthouse is not working. There are several antique shops in the town.
  • The Shadow Fortress is the official residence of Ective, and a whole town surrounds it. It may look abandoned, but don't trust your eyes, somebody is always watching.
  • The Corrupted Windmills is a small and abandoned agricultural village that now is a point of reunion for the Pokemon with the worst Reputation from all the Reigns.
According to the tribes:
    • The Eitri Village is a small tribe of Poison Pokemon that pollutes everything. It is a mercenary tribe, so you better offer them something really succulent if you want its help. It can be found in the Toxic Lakes area, normally wearing other Pokemon's bones.
    • The Ancient Nightmares are a popular band of murderers and thieves that normally are around Corrupted Windmills. They will no doubt hurting or stealing you unless you have no morality and you have done great evildoings.
  • Phynx Reign: It is the Westest Region known. It is a huge desert with a huge mountain full of metal and precious minerals in the middle of it. To the East, the Lectro Range blocks all the storms and rains, so the desert starts there. Pokemon that are not used to extreme temperatures and lack of water are going to have a bad time. The villages that are on the mountain are exclusively dedicated to mining, including Earth, Rock, Steel and Fighting Pokemons, while the ones that live in the desert are practically exclusive of Ground, Steel or Rock Pokemon. The model of government is a Republic, which actual leader is Coop, the Aggron. Their metals are very coveted between in all the reigns. The Main Cities and Villages are:
  • Karst is a city located in the middle of the desert. Though he is not very populated, it is well known for having strange and unique monuments from an older civilisation, that includes pyramids, a sphinx and a bunch of temples. It is constantly stuck up by sandstorms.
  • Limestone Village is a city situated at the base of the mountain, known as Peak Slate. It provides a path that leads to the capital of the region. It is strongly secured. There are several caves that lead to the interior of the mountain too, but the only one that is explored and safe for advancing is the one that Limestone Village provides.
  • Lapis Town is the capital of Phynx Region. It is an underground city, completely illuminated with crystals. The deepest part is known as the Magma Lair, and it is completely at the Magma Level (obviously). The Diamant Palace is the residence of the Leader of the Republic.
  • Windmakers is a not very known village that is populated exclusively by Flying Pokemons that lives at the very top of Peak Slate. It is almost impossible to reach it.
  • Oasis Fountain is a lovely place for all the travellers that try to reach Limestone Village. It is not a village itself, being occupied only by a small hostel and a few tents.
Respecting to the tribes:
  • The Mineral Work Keepers are a small society, owners of the mines, that offers the minerals and metals of their mines to the Republic Leader in exchange of money, defences or favours. They accept exchanging minerals and metals to anyone if they can fulfil their value.
  • The Scorpion Bandits is a unit of assassins and thefts that assault all the travellers that they can, taking from them their gems, money, weapons, metals...They act exclusively in the Phynx Region, and, more specific, in the desert area.

  • Eus Reign: The Eus Reign is exclusive a Mountain Reign: in the east, it limits with the Phynx Reign, to the north, with the Ephone Region, and, finally, to the south and the west, with the Gaia Reign. A lot of Electric Pokemon lives there. It is completely a mountain range, always with constant strong winds and storms. They have an entire army of flying ships, powered by electricity and winds. The actual leader is Bolt, the Manectric. The most important villages are:
  • Thunderbringer is the capital of the region. Located on the tallest mountain of the Mountain Range, known as Bolte, it has the strongest ship of their aerial navy. Thunders usually strike the area.
  • The Village of the Bolt is a relatively small village of the mountainside of Bolte, but that includes the laboratory and workshop of Professor Tesla, a Magnezone that created the first airship. Since Tesla became famous in all regions due to his inventions, the Village has considerably grown responding to the demand for labour.
  • Shockliff is a Town that is the main entrance to Mountain Bolte and the rest mountains. It is located at the base of Bolte, and is strongly secured. Nobody is allowed to go further due to the constant thunders and, probably, for Tesla's security.
There is only one organisation, The Order of the Thundercloud, an organisation that wants to invest in technology, represented by Tesla. Tesla's crazy ideas have focused lately in robots and war machinery, trying to prevent Eus reign to be damaged from a possible future war.

  • Gaia Reign: It is the second biggest Reign after the Cryo Region. Each Area can be divided into two areas: the Viridi Forest, in the east, and the Garden Fields. The Viridian Forest is a huge and dense forest with rivers. It is easy to get lost in there. The Garden Fields are a huge plain where Flying, Bug, Normal and Glass Plants can live. Its lands are very fertile and his climate is very good in the Garden Fields, so this reign is well known for his berries, so it is another commercial reign. The leader of the Region is Hedra, the Serperior. The Main Cities are:
  • Lamin Bay is a peaceful city in the coasts of the reign. It receives all the manufacturers that the Seidon Navy offers and, in exchange, Gaia's inhabitants sell his berries.
  • Roselia City is the capital of the Reign. It is a very popular city between all the Pokemons that want to taste the best berries. All the city is surrounded by huge crops of all types of berries.
  • Miracle Lake was a small village that was popular due to the excellent doctors that used to born there. The waters of the Lake Porus are said to have an incredible healing property too. Hedra renovated the old castle of the city, that now serves as the Royal Residence.
  • Mistral Cliffs are a very popular city for all Flying Pokemon that want to improve their flying techniques. Located in a small cliff by the sea, strong winds constantly are blowing in the outskirts.
  • Tropic Village is one of the most west villages of the reign. It is at the entrance of the Viridi Entrance, and it is quite popular between Bug Types. They offer a great variety of different trips to the Viridi Forest, though they allow explorers to go all alone, but advertising them about the dangers of it.
  • Quetzal Ruins are an old complex of old buildings that resembles the Aztecan ones, in the middle of the forest. Some Pokemons rebuilt them and now it's something like a theme park.
The most popular organizations and tribes are:
  • The Council is an old organization that veils for the good of all the inhabitants of the forest. Since centuries ago, and due to the great quantity of different Pokemon (each of them, with different necessities), four counsellors talk with the King or Queen in charge in order to propose ideas to improve the quality of the Pokemon. Though it was created as an advice institution, it has grown in importance, and now the advice of the counsellors must we revised and, if it is viable, performed. It is formed by the Queen or King, and four counselors, known as Counselor of the Skies (it defends the rights of the Flying Pokemons), Counselor of the Flowers (it does the same with Grass Pokemon), Counselor of Life (it defends Normal Pokemons) and Counselor of Colonies (protects Bug Pokemons). Actually, the charges are occupied by Kalam, a Staraptor, Rose the Whimsicott, Seren the Bibarel and Bolt the Vikavolt.
  • This Reign agglomerates a lot of different Pokemons, and not all want to be reigned by a Plant King or Queen. That was the reason why Khamsin and The Spider's Web were created. The first one is an extremist association that wants Flying Type Pokemon to form a new reign, and the other, exactly the same, but with Bug Type. It is said that the first ones have their base in a cave in the Querc Mountains, while the others have it in the Viridi Forest. They attack guards of the Reign or representants of the Gaia Reign's allies, and, obviously, for defend their principles and ideas too.
