Type: [IMG]
Height: 4'9"
Weight: 47.1 lbs.
Ability: Last Ditch (Powers up Ground-type moves when the Pokémon's HP is low.)

Slith consumes large boulders by breaking them down with its corrosive poisons. The toxins, which course throughout its body, give the Pokémon's rock-hard scales a distinct turquoise color that warns predators. These adaptations protect Slith anytime it leaves its underground home and ventures to the surface.

The burrowing snakes have a reverse-Dragonite thing going on. Dragonite doesn't resemble its previous forms and Slith barely resembles its evolutions. I also made Slith right after finishing Amputer, so I borrowed its color palette. I've tried recoloring this sprite to make it look more like its evolved forms, and it looked decent actually, but after spriting it the way it is now, I just can't unsee this design and stuck with it.

Slith is "slither" + "-lith," which is a prefix that denotes a type of stone, like "monolith" or "batholith."
