The four were on their way to Veilstone City when they reached a city that halfway there.
"Chrome, lets go hang out." Aspen said.
"Say what?" Chrome asked as the two walked off.
"So Flame, what do you want to do?" Mal asked.
"Oh cool, its another pokemon." Flame said walking to it.
"Its a Buizel, this towns pokemon mascott." A girl said.
"Cool, so that means I can't catch it?" Flame asked.
"Its the opposite in fact, everyone here has a buizel." Girl said.
"Awesome." Flame said.
"But there is a catch." Girl said.
"Should have known." Flame said.
"You have to win battles with other trainers with him." Girl said.
"With him." Flame said.
"I meant your team, by bad." Girl said.
"So once you win you get the Buizel?" Mal asked.
"Yep." Girl said. "So get training while we get things ready" She picks up the Buizel and leaves.
"Welp, what do we do til then?" Flame asked.
"Get some alone time." Mal said.
"Alrighty." Flame said holding out his hand.
'Does he know about my secret' Mal thought as she took his hand. They roamed the town alone for a while then the girl returned to them.
"Lets get started." Girl said leading them to the battle field.
"So who is my opponet?" Flame asked.
"Me." Girl said.
"Didnt expect that." Flame said.
"This is going to be a 6 on 6 battle." Girl said.
"Say what, I only have 5." Flame said.
"Some people have done it with three pokemon, so your fine." Girl said.
"Alrighty then." Flame said.
"Ambipom I choose you." Girl said.
"Monferno I choose you." Flame said. "Monferno use Mach Punch." Ambipom was weakened.
"Ambipom use Focus Punch." Girl said and Monferno was weakened.
"Monferno use Iron Tail." Flame said and Ambipom was defeated.
"Ambipom return, Shellos I choose you." Girl said. "Shellos use Water Pulse." Monferno was defeated.
"Monferno return, Shinx I choose you." Flame said. "Shinx use Spark." Shellos was weakened. Then Eevee disappeared from Flame's side.
"Hope you like not having a Eevee." Casey said.
"You guys again." Mal said.
"Who are they?" Girl asked.
"They are Team Disaster, they steal pokemon." Mal said.
"Give back Eevee." Flame said. "Shinx use Iron Tail." Shinx missed and landed hard.
"Shinx return." Flame said as Buizel used Water Gun and Eevee began falling, then Buizel caught her.
"What the." Mal said.
"Buizel use Swift." Flame said and Disaster was hurting.
"Finish this with Aqua Jet." Flame said and Disaster blasted off.
"Looks like Buizel really likes you." Girl said.
"I guess so." Flame said looking at Buizel
"You know, that is actually one special Buizel." Girl said.
"How come?" Mal asked.
"Well, it always hids from trainers." Girl said.
"But it let itself be seen by Flame." Mal said.
"Why dont you keep it." Girl said.
"Buizel return." Flame said. "Lets meet up with the other two and tell them about this."
