It's been three years since a young man name Kazuto Kirigaya along with the help of some old friends took down the augmented reality game known as Ordinal Scale by going back into the world of Aincrad, now at the age 20 Kirigaya has reconnected with some of his old friends. Asuna and Klein both of whom had assisted Kirito in many adventures but the three of them had no clue what was going to happen over the next few years.
"Hey Kirito!" came the soft voice of Asuna from the middle of a crowd in a small town centre.
"There he is! The black swordsman." Klein joked as he placed his hand on his best friend's shoulder.
"Hey guys." Kirito smiled as the two approached him "You seen the news? They've finally found the rest of Kayaba's files." The young boy turned almost gaming myth stated.
"Seriously! Awesome! Now everyone will see how badass we all were in SAO!" Klein's face looked like if it were to glow any brighter then it would explode like a bomb. Kirito gave a faint smile before looking down at the ground. Asuna noticed instantly, although they had broken up almost two years prior she never forgot what he looked like when something risky or dangerous was going through his head. She quickly pulled him aside "I need to talk to you for a minute." she said in a serious voice "But not here, can we go back to yours?"
"Hey! What about me!?" Klein scowled in a childish voice which was quickly met by Asuna's piercing glare "Okay that about me...." he sighed as he headed off to Agil's bar.
About 30 minutes later the former couple had just entered Kirito's new house "I like what you've done with the place." Asuna smiled.
"Thanks, it's nothing special though." Kirito replied and yet there it was again, that faint smile.
"You're going to try and get those files...aren't you?" Asuna looked at him with an upset look on her face.
"I have to, imagine if I could combine the egg with the files and code....I might be able to bring back the everyone that died in Aincrad......Griselda, Yuuna, The Moonlit Black Cats.......Sachi..." He almost cried at the mention of the last two.
"I understand that but what if....what if you also bring back those who were too evil from this world." Asuna sighed as she thought about Laughing Coffin and even Deathgun.
"What if in the real world they were different? I can't just leave them..." Kirito was now getting slightly angry.
"Well what if you don't come back!? You don't know that re-implementing that...that nightmare won't also kill you if you, if you....I DON'T WANT TO RISK LOSING YOU!" Asuna yelled at him.
"WELL NOT EVERYTHING IS ABOUT YOU OR ME OR US!" Kirito yelled back before hearing sobbing from behind him, when he turned he saw his computer turned on and Yuui sat in the corner of it curled up, she was now around the age of 14 and wearing a white hoodie with blue faded jeans.
"Holy shit Yuui! it's not safe for you to be on there..." Kirito said as he used the computer mouse to almost stroke her back "How did you even get off ALO?"
"I was waiting....for both of you to come back together but...you never did...and now, you're fighting? When did it happen then? When did you guys break up?" she said as she dried her eyes.
"Hold on i'm coming in."Kirito said as he grabbed his old Nerve Gear and handed Asuna an Amosphere, the pair of them lay down beside each other on Kirito's bed.
