Sally the Suethor: Sally The Suethor's Stupendously Silly Roleplay

by Shiny Blue Gardevoir

Shiny Blue Gardevoir Sally the Suethor goes roleplaying, with disastrous results. For @Salted_Apples and @Fraseandchico.
*Blows out torch* You are welcome to Mary Sue tales, for fandom kids! A series of cautionary tales, for lovers of Pokemon!

Now, I know some of you were wondering what happened to Sally, after the end of the first story. Did she, perhaps, learn her lesson, after being banned from that fanfiction website for her temper tantrums? Well, if she had, I wouldn't have much of a story to tell you, would I?

Roleplaying is a great thing. We love roleplay, don't we, Flavio? We love seeing what stories we can make, when we let other people in!

Flavio: Gardevoir.

Indeed. But there are some things you need to consider, when roleplaying. Rules, primarily. Oh, and general etiquette. Like not stealing the spotlight constantly, and not putting down the other players to make yourself look good. Now, most roleplayers, even the newbie ones, are perfectly capable of reading rules, and adhering to general etiquette. But, as they say, one bad apple can spoil the whole lot! Here's a tale about one such bad apple.

Sally Moribundus was tremendously excited, for today, she had signed up for a new-fangled roleplaying site. Or at least, new-fangled in her eyes, despite the site having existed for years before she was born. Today, her glorious, precious, most perfectest OC, Yami No Tsuki Kokoro, had another chance. Today, she could try to gain the kisses her little ass desired, in another fashion. Today, everything was going to go her way.

Sally didn't even bother to properly read the rules, before she began to collect signups for her roleplay. The players on this new site were going to be perfect. They were going to love Yami, and worship her, and pretty soon, Sally was going to have people begging to play with her, and draw fanart for her, and write fanfiction for her. Soon, Sally would have everything her stupid little heart desired.

Sally's roleplay was a generic, uninspired one; fite gem, get bage, but since that was the one that was most popular on that site, she went with it. Unbeknownst to the other players, they were just there to play as Yami's sidekicks, while she won everything, league, grand festival, and masterclass showcase, and caught every legendary, and generally got all of the attention and love. The other players weren't going to complain, or leave, or, God forbid, report her, because they were going to love Yami. They were going to see that their characters were stupid and worthless, and Yami was special, so she deserved all the love and attention she got.

And lo and behold, some poor sucker RPers actually signed up. Sally was thrilled, as she told them all, 'accepted' and began making the roleplay itself. She described, in extraordinary detail, how Yami easily captured a shiny eevee for a starter, despite having no pokemon of her own to fight it with, and no experience. Nobody said a thing, though. In fact, the other RPers let a lot of things slide. Like when they reached the first gym, and Yami's shiny eevee evolved into a sylveon, and they battle bonded, despite having known each other for all of one hour. Or when another player wanted her character to do a contest, but Yami decided she wanted to enter, too, and she won, and made the other player's character look stupid. Or when the gym leaders easily defeated the other players' characters, but Yami won with ease. But the final straw came when Sally decided that Team Rocket would attack the group. Team Rocket branded the other players stupid, but said that Yami was special, because she was so pretty and talented.

One player posted on the discussion that she couldn't take being Yami's sidekick anymore, and that she wanted her character to be important, too. She was sick of being shoved to the side for a mary sue. And Sally was mad, once again. And Sally's temper tantrum began.

'SHUT UP! YAMI IS NOT A MARY SUE! SHE'S SPECIAL! SHE'S SPECIAL, SO SHE DESERVES ALL THE LOVE! NOT YOU!'

But the player wasn't happy.

'That's not fair. You said that we were playing a Pokemon journey, ie, a roleplay where trainers all travel together, and do things, and have their own goals, which are all treated like they're important. Not just yours. I wanted to play Pokemon journey, not Yami's sidekick, who only exists to kiss her ass and make her look better.'

Sally was practically foaming at the mouth at this point. Her mother called upstairs, to ask if she was ok, but there was no answer, as Sally typed her rebuttal.

'FINE! GET THE HELL OUT, YOU DUMB BITCH! WE'LL CONTINUE WITHOUT YOU!'

Or perhaps not.

The other player, sick of being treated like garbage, filed a report against Sally. Now, she'd at least get a slap on the wrist for her shit.

The remaining players tolerated Sally's mary sue bullshit a bit better, for a while. Sally seemed to behave herself, for a time, but then a player revealed that her character had a chronic illness. And suddenly, Yami came down with an even worse illness, having decided she wanted sympathy as well as attention. And lo and behold, every time the other player's character became ill, Yami became ill too, but her illness was WORSE. So it garnered her lots of care and attention and get well gifts and kisses, from her boyfriend, Ash Ketchum. And then, when it suited her, Yami miraculously got better. In fact, during a contest, another player's character and Yami ended up the finals, but Sally hated how well the other player wrote out her contest battle moves, so she auto'd it to make Yami win. And just for good measure, she won a special tiara, and Ash Ketchum asked her to marry him on the winners' platform.

Once again, Sally had a player who was angry with her. The other player said she was leaving too, as Yami was a horrible, spiteful mary sue, and Sally's autoing antics were complete crap. And once again, Sally sent her off with:

FUCK OFF YOU, DUMB BITCH! I'M SPECIAL, AND I DON'T NEED YOU ANYWAY!'

And with that, Sally got another black mark, in the form of a report.

Sally was all excited to keep playing with Yami, with her one remaining player. But quite soon, even that player left her. The straw that broke the camerupt's back came when Yami was declared the guardian of every legendary pokemon in the world, and they all begged for her to catch them, and Professor Sycamore gave her a set of custom made master balls, in rainbow colours, to do it with. This third and final player said nothing about dropping out. Oh no, all they did was hit the report button. Sally's end was nigh.

Sally screamed and cried for hours, when she was told that she was banned from the site, and she was never welcome there again. Once again, mean people on the internet had disrespected her beautiful OC. Pokemon roleplay was really a nasty place to be.

When she finally calmed down, she thought about giving the fandom one last chance. It was time to start art. Deviantart...

Well, I believe that, but I was inept to do that at the time. Granted, I may be a lot better now, but back then I wasn't.

@ZRoberts555 trust me, you were far from the worst RPer I have encountered. I've put up with the rudest, most selfish, self-aggrandizing buttwipes you could think of...

This sounds like one of my "friends" at school. Gets all the stuff in the world for attention and cries like a pussycat when they don't get it. That little fricker makes me so mad.

And this, young people, is what happens when the staff have time and NoObs don't read the rules. Or understand that they aren't the only ones that matter.
