A small black-and-white tom with amber eyes woke up. He was only about two moons old. The kit, named Sol, curled up by his mother who stared at the ground. Lily, his mother, soon had to go hunting for both herself and the group they lived in. The silver she-cat sighed and got up, licking the kit on the forehead.
Sol watched his mother leave. He knew about these weird "Clans" that lived countless moons away that just lived in weird conditions; four different territories and Clans...borders....all kinds of strange things. He also knew about a group in this very forest that was full of Clan cats. Except, they only lived by their Clan names, not the "Warrior code". Sol sighed and curled up.
Lily explored the forest, her short silver furshining in the sunlight. She soon saw a bird, a blackbird, land nearby. She silently charged towards it, but it flew into the air, about to screech an alarm. Lily narrowed her green eyes and leapt high into the air, bringing down the bird and killing it with a swift blow. Luckily, the bird didn't get to sound an alarm as Lily was quite a bit too fast for it.
She instantly trotted back to camp, setting it in a small dip in the ground where prey was kept. She then headed back out, catching a few mice and a squirrel. Setting the prey down into the hole, she padded back to her son, who was curled up and asleep. She curled around him and fell asleep as well. Life in Holly's camp wasn't easy; four different rivals without borders, so they could be anywhere...
