Aidan, Angel, Seb and Seer were sitting opposite David and the other two Rocket Admins, the Team Rocket meeting room shrouded in darkness. David stood up, and a massive screen appeared behind him, floating in the air, showing a map of the Kanto Region, “Listen up, we have no time for any nonsense in this mission, no time to lose” he put one finger on the screen behind him, dragging the entire screen to the left, where it faded away to reveal one behind it. The second screen showed the live map of the three legendary birds’ locations.
“As you can see” the other male admin said, pointing to the top of the screen “The three legendary Birds are all somewhere within the Kanto Region, in hard to find areas.”
“We will track them one by one, starting with Articuno, and capture them, one of us will lead each mission” the female admin announced “one admin will accompany you for each of the missions”
Amy, Aspen, Scott and Sam were sitting at a round table in Professor Pine’s house. “The Professor left me in charge of the house while he was gone” she explained to the others “He won’t mind if we use his computer, especially to stop Team Rocket”
She plugged the emergency map USB into the computer, and the computer began displaying the locations and movements of the birds, it seemed that all three were still, and nowhere near the rocket base.
“Great” Amy said “They seem to still be in their places, we might still have a chance to find and protect the Birds.”
They all looked intently at their map, currently they were in Viridian City, meaning the closest bird was Articuno. “We should attempt to find Articuno first” Amy decided “Then the other two birds if the Rockets still haven’t reached them, but I doubt it unless they also decide to go after Articuno first as well”
Aspen smiled “You are totally going to do it in the order Uno, Dos, Tres, aren’t you?” she asked
Amy also smiled “Yep”
In the Rocket Base, the three Admins were deep in thought, “Do you really think it's a good idea to put all of the responsibility on these kids?” the female Admin asked David
“We are right here you know! We aren't kids, and Aidan is even married!” Angel shouted
“I believe in them” David said “They held off Red for long enough for me to get away with the Legendary Bird Tracker, and their results in the Trials shows that they have quite a bit of potential in them.”
“I don’t know…” the other male admin said “It seems like quite a bit of risk, if us three all went there by ourselves, we would basically instantly win”
The female admin rolled her eyes “You?” she asked “Win”
The two began arguing, before David stepped between them. “This group has skills which even we do not, skills needed for a mission like this one, and they work together much better than us. Brute force is not the solution of every problem we come across”
“But one is a spy!” one of the admins cried out “And what if they get captured?”
“Which is why we don’t know our plan” David explained “and if all of us get captured, its much worse for the boss, but only one of us wouldn’t stand a chance against Articuno, which is why we are bringing them with us”
In the Lab, Aspen, Amy, Sam and Scott were also deep in thought.
“We should get help” Sam said, worried
“Don't be so paranoid Sam” Scott laughed “We got this”
“Paranoid?” Sam asked angrily “I’m just pointing out that we are complete newbies against Team Rocket”
“Boys” Amy and Aspen sighed
“So when are we leaving?” Aspen asked “And more importantly, where to?”
“Alright then, it’s time to go!” David announced, opening the door of the Rocket Meeting Room
“Right now” Amy said, opening the door to the lab “The place itself is one of great significance”
“I wouldn’t be surprised if any of you have been there yourself” David said, walking down the hall to the exit of the Rocket Base.
“Me and Professor Pine have been there before, to gather a certain kind of stone for research” Aspen explained, as she exited the lab.
“Many years ago, Team Rocket went there to steal some precious fossils, a plot which was stopped by Red” David sighed, as he left the base, and turned around to face Aidan, Angel, Seb and Seer.
“And we must not allow Team Rocket to beat us there” Amy said, determined as she walked to the entrance of Viridian Forest.
Aiden heard Helicopter Blades and looked up, to see the Rocket-Copter descending from the sky.
Aspen watched as Amy turned back to her group, staring intently at the steel-hard determination in her eyes.
The Rocket-Copter hit the ground, David’s White Lab Coat to blowing majestically in the wind
Amy looked up at the sky, and pointed at a distant mountain
“Mount Moon”
