The Adventures of Rayquaza: Rayquaza: Deoxys

Introduction


When the world of pokemon ever existed, there was a guardian. And he tried to protect the earth as best as he could. Then one day, there came a new reign over earth. And that new reign was: Deoxys.


















Rayquaza was playing around in the ozone layer until he heard something. “I better go check what that is,” he said. Then a meteor the size of a house came speeding down toward the north pole. There was a big explosion and a mutated virus came out: Deoxys! Deoxys flew up into the sky and Rayquaza was ready to battle!


The two legendaries faced each other, waiting for the other to attack. Rayquaza shot a Dragon Ball at Deoxys’ arm. A direct hit! “Whoa,” said Rayquaza. Its arm came off! Then Rayquaza spotted a glowing light coming toward Deoxys’ arm. Its arm was glowing! The glowing faded and Deoxys’ arm was back!


“Huh?” Rayquaza was confused. “Is that… it is! But that’s impossible!” Rayquaza pulled back his arm and shot a black light to make sure it was real: his Dragon Claw! “You.. will... not.. defeat.. me,” said Deoxys in a deep voice. “Are you sure about that?” Rayquaza was sure that he would win until Deoxys sucked up Rayquaza’s Dragon claw using a special crystal on his chest and he shot it back at Rayquaza!


The attack came so fast at Rayquaza and he was so surprised he he had no time to dodge! The attack hit Rayquaza out of the air. The last thing Rayquaza saw was Deoxys floating away to conquer the world. A single tear came out of Rayquaza’s eye.“Nooooooo!!!!” cried Rayquaza… then everything went black.











Chapter 1: new friends


It was quiet for a while. Rayquaza blinked, then opened his eyes. He was surrounded by tiny faces in a pasture of green. “Aaaaahhhhh!!!” Ray was surprised at them. He heard skittering noises, then silence. “Wait!” cried Rayquaza. “I didn’t mean to hurt you! Please come back!” then Rayquaza heard a pad pad pad. Then a pokemon that he recognized came out of the shadows.


“Hello,” said a mouse-like pokemon. It was a Pikachu! “I am a servant of the high and mighty king of the forest.” “who is this king of the forest?” thought Rayquaza. “I am he,” said a pokemon Rayquaza did not know. Then he too came out of the shadows.


“I am Mewtwo, king of the forest. And you are a royal visitor, Rayquaza.” “How do you know my name?” asked Rayquaza. “I am able to read minds, for I am a psychic pokemon. I can also fly, like you.” replied Mewtwo. “Can you help me?” questioned Rayquaza. “Deoxys beat me in-” “Yes, I know.” said Mewtwo. “Do not forget that I can read minds.” “Can I leave now?” asked Pikachu. Mewtwo chuckled and said “yes, Pikachu, you may go.”










Chapter 2: The Plan


“So, what’s the plan, Mewtwo?” said Rayquaza. “First of all, can I call you Ray? Rayquaza is a little long for me.” replied Mewtwo. “Ok, that's fine.” said Rayquaza (now called Ray). “Now that's enough with the nicknames, let’s get on with the plan!” “Ok, first what we want to do is find Deoxys’ location. Then we have to bring out his weakness and exploit it!” said Mewtwo, triumphantly raising his fist.


“Are you sure that will work?” asked Ray. “Ok, fine. And for plan B, we can distract him and I will call out all the legendaries.” this time, Mewtwo jabbed his fist into his open palm. “Nothing can stop this plan! Pikachu! Call every single pokemon in this palace!” “yes, master.” “Leavanny!” “Yes?” “Ray and I need special armor.” “Alrighty, i just need to make some measurements.”


Leavanny, Mewtwo’s seamstress, came into the room. She made up a tune while measuring. “Ok, what kind of armor do you need?” “The special kind that blocks some attacks!” said Ray. “How did you know that we needed that armor?” asked Mewtwo. “I do a bit of mind reading myself.” answered Ray while winking. “Now let’s put this plan in action!











Chapter 3: Plan in Action


“Hey, can you do memorization?” asked Ray, eager for a yes. “Yes, I can.” replied Mewtwo. “That's great because you can memorize the plan and then I can read your mind to memorize it myself!” Ray felt he was prepared for battle. “Wait!” called Mewtwo. “I need to teach you special moves first.” cool stuff, thought Ray. “I know it is!” said Mewtwo.


So, over the course of 2 months, Mewtwo taught Ray special moves. In the first 20 days, Rayquaza learned Aura sphere. It was difficult, but Ray was able to handle the elemental force of the aura. Mewtwo also taught Ray Mirror coat, Psychic bullet, Aerial ace, and others! “Now I am for sure ready!” said Ray. “I should teach you some of my moves.” “All right,” replied Mewtwo.


Ray taught Mewtwo Dragon ball, Dragon rage, and Fire breath. “This is really good!” said Mewtwo while he was shooting a Dragon Ball. After that, Ray let out a powerful, strong, dragon roar that shook the ground, one roar Ray had not roared in a long, long, time.










Chapter 4: Evolution


Ray felt happy. He was content that he would win this battle, that is, with his friends. “Ok master! The pokemon are ready!” said Pikachu. “So is your impenetrable crystal armor!” called Leavanny. Ray and Mewtwo looked amazing in it! “I forgot to give you something,” said Mewtwo. “It's a glove with some Rayquazite. It’ll make you mega evolve!” “Amazing!” said Ray. “And I’ve got the keystone that helps you mega evolve when you need to!” “Let’s go!”


The two friends flew off with some pokemon on Ray’s back. They flew all day and found a lost Charmander, who they helped and he joined them.“All right,” said Ray when they landed in a clearing near a pond. “Now what should we do?” “We should spend the night here.” all the Pokemon sighed with relief. I’ll watch them, since I don’t sleep. said Ray in thoughts. All right, replied Mewtwo.


The next morning, they noticed something was wrong. Charmander was missing! “Charmander!” cried Ray. “I’m over here!” replied Charmander. They looked over and he waved. “I think I found something!” “Whoa, it’s a firestone! You can use it to evolve!” said Ray. And so… Ray and Mewtwo saw a glowing light coming from the firestone! “Evolve!” said Mewtwo, and everything turned so bright they had to shield their eyes.


Charmander was lifted off the ground and taken into the sky. He closed his eyes and felt and felt a zap. He opened his eyes and saw he was a Charmander no more! The glowing faded and Ray took his hand off his eyes and saw a Charmeleon floating down from the sky. “Cool,” said Charmeleon.




Chapter 5: Deoxys Is Found


“Let’s go.” said Mewtwo after Charmander evolved. And so they went off to find Deoxys some more. It started raining and then they heard a sound that sounded like a robot booting up. Shhhwaaaaawwwwrrr. “It’s Deoxys!” cried Mewtwo. “Prepare for battle!” called Ray. “Yes sir!” said Pikachu.


They were ready until Deoxys caught a glimpse of them. “You again?” said Deoxys to Ray. He then pointed to Mewtwo. “Who are you anyway?” Mewtwo stepped forward. “I am Mewtwo,” he replied. “My good friend Ray told me all about you.” Deoxys stared at him, wide-eyed. Oh man, thought Deoxys. He had just realized that this was one of the most powerful legendary Pokemon fighting him.


He then felt paralyzed. Pikachu had shocked him. It was dizzying. As soon as Deoxys felt no more pain, he jumped up, spun around, and flew away shockingly fast. “What are we waiting for?” asked Ray. “Let’s go!” He took off after Deoxys. “Oh well,” said Mewtwo to Pikachu. “I guess we have no choice but to follow Ray.” “Agreed.” replied Pikachu.











Chapter 6: The Chase


Mewtwo and Ray chased Deoxys with pokemon flying on or alongside them. “He’s too fast! We’ll never catch him!” cried Pikachu, who was holding onto Mewtwo’s back. “Not for long!” called back Mewtwo, who was clutching the Keystone. “Mega evolve!” the two legendary friends cried. two symbols appeared in the sky. They were rainbow-colored Mega Evolution symbols, symbols of strength and courage. Mewtwo became Mega Mewtwo X, and Ray became Mega Rayquaza.


“Wow.” said Mega Rayquaza. “So cool.” replied Mega Mewtwo X. all the other pokemon got a Mega evolution, even Pikachu got one! “I look so awesome!” said Mega Pikachu, who was now surrounded with a bubble that flew and blocked attacks. “Let’s go!” said Mega Rayquaza.


A few minutes later, the two legendaries caught up with Deoxys. They landed on the ground safely and Mega Mewtwo X said, “It’s all over, Deoxys.” “I will summon two legendaries to defeat you!” replied Deoxys. He filled the sky with light and disappeared. “Oh no,” said Ray, and he knew they were doomed.










Chapter 7: Groudon and Kyogre


When Deoxys disappeared from the sky, two Pokemon stood in his place. One had a sharp look and eighteen powerful claws: Groudon! The other pokemon was tough and had huge gliding wings: Kyogre! “We were summoned.” growled Groudon. “Yes, summoned to defeat you.” agreed Kyogre in a feathery voice. “Lava blast!” cried Groudon, shooting lava out of his claws. “Hydro pump!” shouted Kyogre, blasting water from his blowhole. The attacks hit each other and formed: another Rayquaza.


“What?” said Ray and Mewtwo at the same time. “Uh, yeah.” said the copied Rayquaza. “We can defeat you.” then Mewtwo and Ray pulled out their Keystones and activated their Mega stones. Groudon, Kyogre, and copy Rayquaza pulled out different stones and activated. Groudon became Primal Groudon, Kyogre became Primal Kyogre, and copy Rayquaza became copy Mega Rayquaza. “You can do it, Ray and Mewtwo!” said Mega Pikachu from far away. And the battle began.












Chapter 8: The Battle


Once the 5 legendaries Mega Evolved, they were ready to battle. The sky turned dark and the winds blew hard. Primal Groudon attacked first with Dragon rage. The attack hit poor Mega Pikachu, who was watching the battle with all the other pokemon. It popped his bubble and he became Pikachu again.


“Ow, that hurts.” said Pikachu. Mega Charizard Y consoled Pikachu, who was feeling woozy. Primal Kyogre attacked next with Tsunami, which hit Mewtwo and some of his power fell. “Hey, you hurt my friend! You will pay for this!” Ray hollered across the field, then used Psychic bullet.


The other Mega Rayquaza used Forcefield, which reflected Ray’s attack and hit him. Mega Ray fell to the ground. Ray then saw what he had saw once before. Primal Groudon, Primal Kyogre, and copy Mega Rayquaza started off, and Ray realized that he saw a light! He thought back, and realized he saw that same light before everything went black when Deoxys defeated him!


He focused, and out of that light, he saw Ho-oh flying across the sky and she saw the hurt Mewtwo and Ray. She turned her head and saw Primal Groudon, Primal Kyogre, and copied Mega Rayquaza moving away.


She then heard a voice in her head from Mewtwo. Help us please, begged Mewtwo. Ho-oh became enraged and turned into Ho-oh BREAK! She used the most powerful attack ever: Ho-oh’s Z blast!


Groudon, Kyogre, and copied Rayquaza turned around and were blasted with it! Copied Rayquaza disappeared, and Groudon and Kyogre were zapped away, into the deep, dark depths of the ocean, back into the underground cave, and fell asleep. “Lay still.” said Ho-oh to Ray and Mewtwo. She healed them with a Helping hand. Ho-Oh flew up, up, and up… and was gone in the blink of an eye.




Chapter 9: Encountering Deoxys


“Wow.” said Ray after Ho-oh left. “How did you do that?” asked Mewtwo. “ I don’t know. I just focus on a defeated feeling, then I see light. I really don’t know.” after minutes of deep thinking, Mewtwo replied,“You can send messages to Ho-oh anywhere because your auras are a match!” “Wow!” replied Ray. “We have to find Deoxys!” said Pikachu. And so they put their shining armor, prepared to battle, and flew off.


It was a hard day that day, flying in the wind and rain. Eventually they spotted Deoxys flying around, and holding a stone. “What?” said Ray, then Deoxys spun around and saw them. “What is that you are holding?” asked Mewtwo politely. “You will soon find out,” Deoxys replied, then enveloped in a ball of light and became… Mega Deoxys?!



“It was a Deoxite that you were holding!” cried Mewtwo, then Mega Evolved. Ray did the same. This was going to be a long and hard battle.











Chapter 10: The Final Battle


As Mega Mewtwo X and Mega Ray stared at Mega Deoxys in silence, they did not know that other Pokemon were watching them from above. As the battle started, Mega Pikachu let out a war cry. “Really?” said Mega Deoxys. “Uh, yeah,” replied Mega Pikachu. Mega Deoxys laughed and said, “You’re such a baby.” Mega Pikachu Pika punched Mega Deoxys’ face. “WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!” screamed Mega Deoxys, then blasted Pikachu with his crystal. “Yow!!” yiped Mega Pikachu, who got thrown backwards.


“Hey, why did you hurt Pikachu?” said Mega Mewtwo X. “Besides, I thought you were strong.” “Uh-oh,” said Mega Deoxys. Mega Ray used Psychic Bullet. The attack hit Mega Deoxys in the laser beam between his eyes. It cracked effortlessly. “Now you can’t scan us.” said Mega Pikachu. Mega Deoxys easily pushed away Mega Pikachu with Telekinesis.


Mega Mewtwo X used Psy Beam and hit Mega Deoxys square in the chest. Deoxys fell back and out of the sky came all the Eeveelutions. Flareon, Jolteon, Vaporeon, Leafeon, Espeon, Umbreon, Glaceon, Sylveon, and Eevee floated down.


“Stop the fight!” cried Flareon. “Please stop.” whispered Vaporeon. “Why does this fight have to happen?” added Sylveon. “The earth is mine!” yelled Deoxys. “Do you really have to take over the whole earth?” asked Ray, and Mewtwo agreed. “Good point.” replied Deoxys. “ I’d better go, then.” “It was nice meeting you.” said Pikachu. “I guess it was.” Deoxys agreed. “Goodbye!” said Eevee as Deoxys flew up and up and up… until he was gone.


“Well,” said Jolteon, “Looks like our mission is accomplished.” The Eeveelutions all vanished. It was silent for a few moments. Then Ray said to Mewtwo, “I’m going to see you again soon.” “Yeah,” replied Mewtwo. As they fulfilled their goodbyes and Ray departed into space, he had a good feeling inside. For he knew that he would feel that way forever.





Epilogue


After the agreement with Deoxys, Ray was able to get Ho-oh to watch over the earth for a few days so he could visit Mewtwo and Pikachu once or twice a year. One day Ray was practicing his Telekinesis on some leaves when Pikachu burst in. “Ray!” he panted. “I just saw a glowing rock that flew up, spun around, and a new Pokemon emerged! Not like any i’ve seen before!” “Sounds like another mission to me!” said Ray.
