When I reached the gym there was a tall girl with purple hair and wings attatched to her. "I am Rania, gym leader of this city, are you here to battle, or to be crushed like a coward?" she said in a big booming voice that made Flower hide behind me. "This is a 1 on 1 battle, now go Togekiss!" she said as I said, "Ok Flower, I want you to do this, we didn't train hard for nothing!" Flower nodded as she stepped onto the platform. "Use tackle!" I said, doing very little damge, "Extreme speed!" Raina said doing about half of damage, I knew one more extreme speed would bring Flower down to 1 hp, which is when a battle ends so that the Pokemon does not die, only criminals do not stop when a pokemon is at 1. "Block the extreme speed and use take down!" I said as Togekiss started an extreme speed, but Flower was not fast enough and was brought down to one hp! " Flower is no longer able to battle, Raina wins!" shouted the referee. I returned Flower to her pokeball as Raina walked up to me. "I was supposed to give you this before the battle, but I felt you needed a lesson to use it, here is a gift from my dear friend Abby the gym leader whom you challenged recently. Wear this necklace and be able to hear your Pokemon in your own language, when you understand, come challenge me again." she said handing me a necklace with a pink heart locket. I put a picture of Dove inside the locket and strapped it around my neck. "Thank you, I will challenge you again." I said looking at my Pokemon.
