Episode 6: cold shoulders
“Why don’t you steal back?” I almost instantly regretted saying that I didn’t know if they already tried that “are you crazy?! We would die!” yelled Oliver confirming my suspicions “but Chloe fended off some of them with her roggerola” I say a bit nervous as I recall when Chloe “those were only a small group even if we all went with our pokemon they would surely win” I hear Umbra say adjusting her glasses “there stronger than us and have greater resources trying to fight back is just stupid” she had a serious tone she seemed kind of cold “although Oliver did you finish those smoke bombs?” Lucas ask and almost immediately Oliver laughed nervously “well….. No but I was working in something more important” he said trying to defend himself.
“What your beauty sleep?” he replied glaring at him before sighing “even with that it would still be really difficult to steal from them” said Chloe with a sigh with every comment they say my words just sounded more and more stupid but I didn’t know why but I kept talking. “But you can’t just stay here and let them take away what you got, maybe there stronger and maybe you don’t have chance against them but you won’t know until you try”.
Silent covered the room before melody spoke up “maybe he’s right?” I lighten up a bit as I hear those words as I see a smile from her “what do you mean?” said Lucas a bit worried about her response “well we may be able to steal a bit of stuff from them I mean we could use any resources right now” she says rubbing her neck “but we could die!’ Oliver says a bit annoyed putting a hand on his forehead rubbing it gently with a sigh before going back upstairs.
“Melody more than anyone you know how deadly they are, they don’t have morels they’ll do anything if it means surviving in this dammed region” umbra said frustrated as well sitting on a chair next to Chloe “b-but we can’t just stand there” I say a bit worried I was out matched even if someone agreed with me i don’t think the others would be the same in just a few words.
“We? Blakk I don’t mind you staying here after what happened to you but don’t consider yourself one of us just yet” said Lucas walking upstairs with Melody who seemed to follow him into the room “don’t worry they’ll warm up eventually or at least I hope” said Chloe giving a bit of an awkward smile
