Pokémon: Halloween Special
Phoenix and his loyal companion, Evie the Eevee, strode through the darkness alone. Finding he had left his other Pokémon in the PC, Phoenix pressed on forward to find an exit and, in turn a centre to get his Pokémon. With Evie on his shoulder, Phoenix looked frantically around, but he could find nothing, nothing at all; absolute silence. Leaves crackling under his feet, the two slowly weaved in and out of the dark and leafless spruce trees. Dead grass polluted the ground like the Black Death, affecting all the patches in the perimeter.
Rustle rustle.
Something moved in the distance, creating an awful racket as it crushed dead leaves in its path. No life seemed to exist where they tread. No noise, no clatter, not even a flutter of a bird Pokémon above them. Absolute silence.
Something moved again in the darkness. Having no choice, Phoenix ran like a speeding train. Evie looked behind them to hear something following them.
