Dyvingusk
The Diving Pokémon
Normal Type
These Pokémon almost exclusively hang around the edges of rivers and ponds, and when a prey item approaches, they pounce. Though most commonly seen in small communities in grasslands, some of these Pokémon inhabit much larger colonies.
Abilities: Swift Swim, Tough Claws, Strong Jaw(Hidden)

Anglerodat
The Angler Pokémon
Normal and Water Type
Anglerodat float on the surface of the water in still rivers, lakes, and ponds, casting their tail hooks into the murky depths below. Anything it can fit in its mouth that is attracted to the shiny lure is food for this Pokémon.
Abilities: Swift Swim, Tough Claws, Strong Jaw(Hidden)

Anyway, now that we have that settled, I’m looking for an idea for the regional bug. For the bird I have the Osprey, but I’m still looking out for insect ideas!

    @Tudor21G I imagine a 3 stage line. The baby, the mid-stage at level 16, and then at level 25+ it gets it's 4 evos. Perhaps a fifth for the queen

    Oh yeah, Lurantis... Anyways.
    For the termite, I imagine robably something like, if the first evolution holds muddy mouthparts at level 16 it becomes Bug/Ground, if it holds Stone Mouthparts it becomes Bug/Rock. And we can take it a step further and also use Frozen/Iron Mouthparts for a Bug/Steel|Bug/Ice variant.

    @Tudor21G well Lurantis already exists as an Orchid mantis rep, so probably not one of those. I think a Termite would be an interesting idea, perhaps an item-determinate split evo?

    It's so cute, we must protect it at all costs.
    As for the regional bug.. I'm thinking either stick bug that's actually rock, like Sudowoodo, or maybe even Steel.... Hm.... or maybe termites? Like Bug/Ground? I dunno, but I think that another non-flying regional bug is very much needed. Hm... or maybe a mantis? Like an orchid mantis that is something other than Grass/Bug, because that's too obvious?
