Our heroes have left Jubilife City, and are onto the first badge at Oreburgh City. Lucas anticipates his first gym battle, and trains his Starly, because Dawn discovered that Starly has an advantage over rock types, which the gym's type of Pokemon used will be. An Abra appears, and Dawn tries to catch it. Abra teleports away, and Dawn is mad. She re-encounters the same Abra from earlier, and picks up a Great Ball, which can catch Abra in a pinch. However, Abra teleports away again. Dawn tries encountering it one last time, and succeeds! In a trainer battle, Starly evolves into Staravia! Our heroes will now be at Oreburgh in no time.
