Hamada stood across from the wild Patrat. He grabbed his Pokeball containing Pikachu and threw it onto the field. The ball opened, but nothing came out. "Huh?? Pikachu?" Hamada said, a dazed look on his face. He grabbed the Pokeball off the field and chucked the Pokeball containing Pidgeot. "Pidgeot, gust attack!" Hamada shouted. The quiet forest soon filled with the rush of air and a Patrat screeching. Hamada returned Pidgeot to his home, all the while staring into Pikachu's ball. Where'd he gone? Hamada thought. "Ah! Torchic! I've trained the little rascal to smell any Pokémon that I command him to hunt!" Hamada said, snapping his fingers. He took the Pokeball with Torchic inside and called him out. Nothing came out. Hamada stood frozen to the spot, steam shooting out of his ears. "WHY DO MY POKEMON KEEP ON DISSAPEARING?!?!" Hamada bellowed at the top of his lungs. "WHY?!??!!!"
