PATHS OF ADVENTURE!
It's Sunday I pack my things
On the wall my hat hangs
I pick it up and place it on my head
I tread down the stairs thinking "this is the last time in my bed"
I say good bye to my mom she made some cookies
I eat one and say "what a wonderful way to play Hookie"
As I shut the door behind me I wonder
What lies out yonder
I head to the lab to get my first Pokemon
Then my journey had truly begun
I walk along the path to the next town
The forest is quiet....not a sound
As I look to my town and stop to yell goodbye
A tear forms in my eye and I start to cry
My charmander comforts me as I walk alone
All I think about is what I will be when I come back home.....
