Nico ran to route 1, and when he got there, he saw Professer Birch chatting with a few trainers. "Hmm, I wonder who they are..." Said Nico to himself. Professer Birch saw Nico. "Hello, Nico! Nice to see you!" Said the Professer. "Nice to see you too! I see there are some new trainers in town!" Said Nico. "Oh, these are a few trainers that have come here to start a journey." Said the Professer. "Hello! My name is Avelyn!" Said the girl, waving. "Sup. Name's Alex." Said Alex, leaning against a tree. "Cool! Nice too meet you! I'm Nico!" Said Nico. Professer Birch handed Nico a Poke'Ball. "Not much of a choice these days. Just yesterday, two trainers came in and took Torchic and Treeko, so I guess your stuck with Mudkip." Said the Professer. Nico grinned. "This is what I wanted anyways! Thanks, Professer!" Said Nico. The three said this goodbyes to the Professer, and Nico got an idea.
