“What… what’re ya doin’, Dizzy?” Pascale wasn’t a night owl by any stretch of the imagination, but it was earlier than even she would have been up.
“I have a regiment of stretches and exercises I do before breakfast, smith,” Dizzy said. “Early morning is the best time to be productive.”
Pascale rubbed at the corner of her eyes and glanced at the window. It was still dark out. “Well, if ya say so.”
“You’re welcome to join me,” Dizzy said with a smile. “Ah, and you too, scholar.”
Pascale looked over her shoulder - Kalina had appeared without her noticing. “What’s all the talking out here about?” Kalina said, yawning. Her mouth froze open as soon as she caught a glimpse of Dizzy.
“You’re starin’ again, ‘Lina.”
